Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Re: GAME STREAM REQUEST
« on: November 18, 2018, 07:39:58 PM »
Been trying to find a stream since the tip off and no luck... Anyone have a stream?

2
No one has time for that. I deleted my cookies, it fixed it

3
So if I'm logged I can see them all, logged in, I can see zero of the sports boards... What's that about?

4
So I left the site for years up until a comment a few weeks ago. How the f*ck did he get the name oscar? And the only thing I like is how his voice always sounds like he's yelled too hard and lost 90% of it, because it makes it harder to understand his bullshit complaining and him blaming everyone but, himself!

So ignore the fact that I say military building cause I'm just a contractor now. That being said the building I'm in tomorrow won't have access to the game, any chance of a stream tomorrow? Would be much appreciated!

Am I the only one who thinks The Flush Jr. is terrible when it comes to leadership? It blows my mind the lack of leadership in this effing squad... If Sneed stays cold in games State lacks the killer instinct to pull off victories

7
I didn't imagine it would, but I could picture a scenario when a new university president takes over, and a strong willed AD comes in and changes all that. I just don't see it being a Wichita State situation with how popular football is in Alabama...

8
As stated by bones129, the hiring process can't take place until tomorrow. Cryst is 100% the hands on favorite, and most likely signs with the team tomorrow. It still blows my mind how they screwed those UAB football players. Why not give it a final year, give them a chance to make a final bowl appearance, and give them a chance to go out with a bang? I just don't get athletic departments sometimes. What is the over/under on the return of a UAB football program?

Other Sports (Tiger's Back) / Re: The Royals

It may just be me but, I'm very excited about the Alex Rios signing. I have been a fan of his for a while due to his speed (though it has declined with age obviously) last year he had a batting average at .280, which is just that average. With his base on balls at 23, the only thing he needs to work on is his strike outs (as a little guy he did have 8 home runs which is an obvious improvement, if he can get between 5-10 this year I would be stoked).  I still don't know what to think about the Edinson Volquez signing, as a Pirate last year he did pitch nearly 200 innings, he also had a 2-1 strike out to walk ratio, he went 13-7 which is a good thing, but I also know his post season was 0-1. We have to get to the post season first we need to focus on that, but does this mean we have a replacement for James Shields who we most likely lose due to salary? What do you all think?

10
I guess transfers should go under recruiting, but this is also pretty much my first time on the site in 4 years. I will make sure to go there from now on. Then our posting styles will be more alike

Now that I am living in Comifornia, will the game be televised at all? I have tried the VLC method and my xfinity keeps telling me it's an invalid method of use.... I am not even sure if the game is televised other than the KSU network, can anyone conform this? Being 1600 miles away I am sure missing some KSU basketball even if it hasn't been up to par at this point (At least I will get to watch KSU football kick the crap out of UCLA, that will be nice). If anyone has a way for me to watch the game it would be much appreciated!

Newest update is he is canceling the Whisky trip but, will be visiting Notre Dame and Indiana. The kid has good grades, is a good kid, I don't understand why he wouldn't fit perfectly in Manhattan... I mean even Vanderbilt has offered this kid, and we haven't so I just don't get it!

13
Howards name was brought up, but I haven't seen anything directly from Kansas State's athletic department in regards to this (Wisconsin, Indiana, and Boise State are all going after him pretty hard right now, not sure where Kansas State sits on his heels). SD I am not sure what you are trying to get at, and WetWillie I have no idea who Brad is... (No more rebel BBS's I will be posting here)

With the UAB players able to transfer without consequence, are there any UAB players that could fit into the Kansas State way of play? I would say why not give QB Cody Clements a shot? http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/stats/_/id/3129249/cody-clements If you actually look at his stats his overall rating is 145.6 with over 2200 yards passing. Though he didn't run for a over abundance of yards he can scramble, and run when it's needed. I am just not sure I am sold on Hubener. I also really wouldn't mind seeing Jordan Howard as he is only a sophomore and still ran for over 1500 yards and 13 td's. KSU also will need to replace wr's obviously, and there is a sophomore out of UAB named Josh Magee who on only 18 receptions had 340 yards and 3 touchdowns. Any thoughts on those 3? Why not give Hubener a year like Sams had under Klein, and then try and let Joe shine his senior season. Most of these kids probably have been picked up already but, wanted to get some opinions...

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Thomas Gipson
« on: November 16, 2013, 06:43:38 PM »
So obviously I have always been a shitty poster, but haven't been able to follow basketball nearly as close this year compared to previous years. Why hasn't Thomas played in the first 2 games? He has slimmed down and I had heard that he had gained some speed and a bit of explosion. Is he injured, or is oscar just keeping him out for some reason?

I am sure just like many of you have a let down game of the year, this year it worries me that it will be against Iowa State. I understand ISU has a good defense and an alright offense, where KSU has a ugly yet great offense, and good defense. As long as Kansas State isn't over looking Ames to be in West Virginia (which we shouldn't because, who the hell really wants to be in WV?) I see Kansas State pulling off a good win in a hell of a battle against an under-rated team.

If KSU can win this game, and can go in and shut down Geno like they did RG3 (who still had damn good stats, just was shut down enough for our offense to win it) last year, KSU can very well be 7-0 before facing a high flying TT offense. Who will get dominated by our defense, which means we will be 8-0 and oh yea we get a close one against OSU, revenge for last year 9-0, TCU has proven if a pass rush is there, the offense is not 10-0, Baylor? they can chuck the ball but, once again against good defense they fall apart 11-0. Texas well we own Texas but, not this year this will be tougher than WV tougher than TCU, this is our 1998 Texas A&M game if we are not careful. Texas has a great defense and a great offense, KSU pulls this one off but, by close numbers 12-0!

Still look for us to be overlooked even if we do finish the season this way as they have Alabama and Oregon pretty much locked in right now, if we can and it is a big IF, but if we can stay undefeated and either Oregon or Bama lose. KSU will be playing for it's first ever BCS National Championship game! (Wait it's been so long did I post this in the right place? eh eff it)

wow, you are so ignorant. since you graduated from KU that makes you more of a fan? and since i chose Devry i am not a true KU fan? I am a fan of the KU Men's basketball team, not the university and academics.

You don't choose Devry

Devry chooses you?

Maybe the thread should be "KSUfans" of basketball... I imagine the epic fail here 3 years down the road that will be KSU basketball will be just like the epic fail that was the end of KSUfans.

I am not reading 740 rough ridin' pages, and I am sure it has been brought up... AND I know it's nothing that could or ever will happen, but I would like to see Arkansas in the Big XII(10)

Time for a dobbie post, I buy in... not only do I buy in, I think that it is and was a better decision beings we got to keep several players that would have left. I see a sweet 16 maybe even elite 8 this year! Mark it down fools

I am just happy that we at least have one more good year if not two that will keep the recruits coming in. I refuse to give up on Weber before, he has a full fledged recruiting class all his own. Now my opinion (which I know on this site means little) seeing how the kids have taken to coach I can see us making a sweet 16 run if not better. Frank is no Bill Self but, Weber did it at first in Illinois I think he has that shot here, and my hope is that instead of giving up on the school he falls in love with Manhattan. I am the furthest thing away from butt hurt as I see Frank leaving as one of the best things to happen to the school, following the rumors of players transferring if he didn't leave. I enjoy being back on goEMAW.com and hope to actually make a contribution this time around.

Is this a parody post?

Finally someone get's me, but yea it's also a dobbie post... I live on the opposite realm of most of these guys, but It's pretty easy with all the oxycontins, soma, and xanax I have to take.... I try and make sense while being under the influence all the time lol

I never claimed on being overly smart so your response confuses me, first because it has nothing to do with the thread, second I don't smoke cigars
