For this game, Kennedy let 10 of 23 batters get on base and the OPS allowed was 1,135.
Kennedy allowed over a 1,000 on OPS in May, and it's about 1,075 this month.

hello wetwillie i'm great, thanks for asking.

11 game pods are kind of lame and i've found lately that 25 game pods really paint a clear picture of how the season has gone.

the royals have played five 25-game pods, winning 3 of the 5 pods.

pod 1: 8-17 L
pod 2: 13-12 W
pod 3: 16-9 W
pod 4: 16-9 W
pod 5: 11-14 L

as you can see the royals were really crushing taints in pods 3 and 4. not even superman could keep that up, as witnessed by a slightly disappointing fifth pod. here's to a rejuvenated taint-crushing squad for pod 6!

I enjoyed last night's win on radio with Denny and he really let loose (by Denny standards) when Hos won the game. When he said "AND.........GONE! HOSMER!" you could hear that thing that hangs down in the back of your throat was really dangling and moving because he was yelling so much

Of all the decisions the Royals have made lately, this one is the most bizarre.

Okay, maybe regularly playing the worst hitter in baseball might be worse, but you get the idea.

I mean, in fairness, we had a stretch where ever idiotic move was rewarded. People were like "um, are you insane? you're leading off Escobar?" and then he won the ALCS MVP and hit an inside the park HR on the first pitch of the WS

turns out though even the Royals have to make the smart move from time to time. the Whit one probably cost us a game or 2 that we need right now

If the WC game is Seattle at Yankees or something, fine, whatever, we tried and lost.

But let me tell you right here and now, if the Twins are in the playoffs and we aren't I'm not going to be very pleasant. mocat back me up here on the Twins being idiots.
