This is trash. The USMNT pool isn't deep enough to have Bedoya as your most established player on the team and look good. Very sad.

I don't hate him, but there is a real quality issue at this level in the talent pool and apparently this is how we look when he is the most established player in the squad, and how we looked tonight was very sad.

Well I thought missing those 2 PKs was going to have a bigly impact on the US winning the group. I really don't appreciate Donova's commentary ragging Dom that much after the miss. Also didn't have as much commentary after a near identical miss by Corona. Oh well, crap happens, keep did a good job reading it.

Once again, for me at least, Zusi shows why he MUST be the designated free kick (and corner IMO) taker for the US when you aren't necessarily looking to go on goal (I would apply the same standard to SKC and Zusi > Benny). That ball was just brilliant to seal the 3 points and the top of the pool.
Pretty happy with the result, much more at ease then after the last game.

Anyone have ideas on who the 6 changes are? Rowe and Dom I think did enough to stick around to the knockout round. I'm sure people here will be able to ID some mid field changes that could work.

oscar said that Bedoya is leaving for his kid's birth. I would think Sean Johnson is leaving as well as Hamid/Guzan if the rumors that Gonzalez is coming in are true.

Lalas and Rob Stone where on Total Soccer Show and when asked who the next manager of the USMNT the two names they gave as the guys to watch where Tab Ramos, and our guy Peter Vermes. Threw out a few other names in passing too but those are the two first names they put out there.
