0-0 draw with Iceland yesterday. Off to play France in the Algarve Cup final. A win possibly vaulting the US into the number 1 spot in the FIFA rankings.

Germany lost their best player to knee surgery and may  not make it back for the WC. Then had another player break their leg. Win and the USWNT is number 1 in the world!

That's surface temps, the air temps just above the surface are barely higher than natural turf.

One of the factors in FIFA certification is how it scores in Skin abrasions tests (and a myriad of other tests) that are ISO certified.

These are not cheap artificial grass fields that indoor soccer complexes etc. etc. throw down.

Paging Dax. Current air temperature in Edmonton for the WWC kickoff, 75 degrees. Current temperature of the FIFA certified turf in Edmonton, over 120 degrees.
