i usually like this as long as scoring is similar to default. what was scoring last year? definitely not keepers, i think this league will probably be too fluid. i am also against divisions unless we end up with 20 teams or something crazy.

I'm also a big fan of PPR's (or .5 point PPR) It really grows the WR pool and allows the flex spot to be more competitive (otherwise it's almost always filled with RB's)
But that's just me.

yeah this is solid. i also prefer 12 team leagues with no divisions.
i like big play and big game bonuses. and qb td passes being worth 5 or 6 rather than 4. :dunno:

Blame the rest of the team for making it close. The difference between a good and average kicker in fantasy is minimal at best.

I don't dislike the spot, I just think it takes a lot of strategery. In the mocks I have been doing, best available has been Rodgers and AJ Green.

Yeah, it was a pretty pud league. I ended up 13-2, and I think 2nd place was 8-7, maybe 9-6. I won my last 8 games and outscored everyone by 200+ points.

Next year can we change the waiver wire process? I played in a league where we all had a certain dollar amount to start the season and then bid on all of the waiver claims. I also would not be opposed to a $5 per waiver move added to the pot for the end of the season.
We can discuss any rule changes at the annual owners meeting. Also did we ever discuss payout? It looks like Jdub just didn't participate at all this season and therefore the pot is 20 bucks lighter. I am proposing paying 3 spots as usual but in this format:
1st: 140.00
2nd: 60.00
3rd: 20.00

I had so many receivers this year and no RB's. All of my backs died during the season (bell for one). 3 weeks ago I traded Odell to a guy in my league who I usually face in the Championship every year for West from the Chiefs and that racist WR from the Eagles. Now I have to face him in the semi finals and odell is playing like the best player in the league. :frown:Wacky,with trades like that you definitely need play with us next season.

I think we should shoot for 12 members, if we don't get much traction from the rest of gE then be thinking of other peeps that might be interested. Maybe it was always there and I didn't notice.
Are you looking at the matchups? After waiver wire processes if you opponent drops a starter for a waiver wire add that add goes automatically to his bench. For some reason Yahoo doesn't like seeing those matchup spots uneven so they add a empty bench spot to the opponent to even things out. You can't fill it though.
If you look at your opponents lineup I bet he has a starter missing. Count the total players and I bet they match up.

You aren't horrible Sdk. But yeah picking up Josh Gordon is a desperation play at best. A better pickup would be Gordon's teammate Corey Coleman who is set to come off the IR in week 11. Coleman is a stud and is the #1 WR for the Browns.

Me too. I thought I'd take a flier on him on the off chance he works out. My team has kinda gone to crap with Rogers and Watson going down. Rogers moreso as I had a few Packers that have been adversely effected.
If he works out he does, my goal right now is to get into that 2/3 game hope for a good day.

Those 2 games were against some salty teams against the pass, especially that New Orleans secondary that with that Latimore kid is looking to be something special.

So I wrote a College Fantasy Football League last year for the buds and I. It's a text based draft system using a Twilio API. I completely rewrote it for this year, but I had no real motivation to get it done ahead of time. So I'm almost done frantically pulling it together.

Well in short...it has worked great. The draft system was already battle testing from last year, but the queue system has helped a lot, and it has worked great. I also, thanks to Chings, have implemented a auto stats calculation system. Last year and until now I had to manually enter stats, they were auto calculated from there but I still had to enter them. I now have a fully automated stats entering and calculation process in place. Click a button and wait for the magic to happen. :Woot: :Woot: :Woot:
