Watched The Surrounding Game last night.  It was kind of a doc but it was filmed in 2012.  I had never even heard of Go and to learn that it is has 10x as many legal moves as chess and how complex it was it was a very interesting movie.  I haven't played Go yet but seems like the kind of game that I would enjoy.

Just watched A River Runs Through It for like the fifth time. First time I'd watched in a semi-intoxicated state. It was much easier to tap into the co-existing contempt and affection toward my family that grapple deep inside of me this way. I would recommend if you have not tried it.

A Simple Favor - It was ok!  Good date-ish movie, not because it's some love story (it's a bit of the opposite) but because it's Anna Kendrick in a true crimey movie

This movie is more than OK. It's excellence, pure and simple. So fun.

When they started rapid firing twists towards the end, it got to be a bit much for me.  Still fun though.

The Predator - It was a fine action flick.  I wish it had more Shane Black humor in it.  It seemed to have a bit more plot than your average action movie.

Watched Uncle Drew last night with my sons.  It was ok.  Wish it would have shown more basketball action but kind of fun to know the people playing the characters and some of their background.  Made me laugh in a few spots.  It's not for people who are concerned about great or even good acting.

I really liked how they managed to plant giant fields of corn in rows without making any noise.

Venom was good. I enjoyed the way it portrayed the comic character as it is following the Ultimate Venom time line.
