My brother and I were having this conversation today and we were trying to come up the criteria for the perfect french fry, it all started with this poll on twitter that was asking, if you were to only have one of these style of fries what would it be? Crinkle cut, Waffle Fries, Curly, shoestring or steak fries.

My top three are probably
1) Shoestring
2) Curly
3) Crinkle

Figured I would drop this question to the peeps on goEMAW and see what everyone thought.

Fries with truffle oil and garlic aioli from Little Apple Brewery. That's an elite fry.

shoe string fries are so difficult and stressful that I get a borderline panic attack

a perfectly crispy crinkle is tough to beat is we're going for strictly type of deep fried french fry, no seasoning (other than salt) or other toppings.
