All you cord cutters are saving me $$$ by putting the squeeze on cable providers. Prices are lower, a la carte is emerging, and 24 month contracts are a thing of the past. I've stayed with DirecTV because of the sports, and the DVR, and the simplicity of channel surfing. The merger with AT&T has made the bundled internet easier and cheaper, too.
I just re-upped for another year and have Choice Package (all the regional sports and basically every other non-premium channel), WHDVR, 6mos HBO, NFL Sunday Ticket, and 50mbps internet for $96+tax. That's the lowest I've paid for that much stuff since DVRs hit the market.
