I love gummies. How firm a gummie are we talking here?

pretty soft gummie

if we were using the welch's fruit snacks softness scale with orange being a 1 (softest) and grape being a 5 (firmest), i would rate the starburst gummie at a 1!  i bet you were wondering if it would rank a 3 on the welch's scale (strawberry)?  nope, very soft. i would listen to an argument that the may rank at a 2 (peach) but i've got them rated 1 in my gummie dossier for now.

obviously the raspberry welch's fruit snack comes in firmly (LOL PUN) as a 4 on the welch's fruit snack softness scale.

i figured i owed everyone here an update. 
these gummiebursts are kind of weird.  they fall apart in your mouth so there's a lid and a container.  picture, in your mind's eye, a tortilla warmer like this, that is actually the gummieburst.



after you have it in your mouth for a little bit, the lid comes off and the juice comes out.  then all that you're left with is the gummie lid and gummie container parts in your mouth.  it's more than a little disconcerting.

anyway, stopped by target today and picked up a fresh bag of original starburst gummies. go cats. #1Cat.
