i think it's dumb but if you decide to do it, buy the passes from costco
regular price is ~$75 for 2 minutes but costco is like $40

I live pretty close to that area, and I can tell you I never once considered walking around there.  crap, go a few blocks in the other direction and get on the trail and walk there or whatever.

My bigger concern is that I have no rough ridin' fiber in my hood.
