Forgot to post about Epic's Baptist lineup this winter. 



Big Bad Baptist was great as usual.  The new Double Barrel BBB was a step better.  Son of a Baptist was just okay (not barrel aged like the others, more coffee).  The new Big Bad Baptista was absolutely amazing.  I've got a couple more bottles saved for a special occasion.  So good that mrstdaver made some chocolates with it.

Guys, I've noticed I've been passing on micro for macro-brew light beer a lot more recently.

I still like good beer, but the pull of "easy drinking, light" has really sucked me in.

is anyone else disappointed with Tallgrass? I'm sure metalhead will try to convince me otherwise but all of these bullshit beers they have been coming out with is pretty disappointing.  I know there is "market research" and blah blah blah but woof

Another great option is their PC Pils.  It is like a light beer but with the hoppiness you crave if you prefer IPAs.

Their sours have been on point and addresses a style that largely missing, at least by my taste. It seems like their showcase at liquor stores, espesh in KC area has been dwindling though

Completely agree. Their Key Lime beer made it all the way down to stores here in Dallas, which is impressive but I'd still never buy it. Always stock up on some 8-bit though.

Didn't realize Tallgrass had mumped their lineup so bad. Sad that I couldn't get 8bit at my favorite liquor store in Missouri.
