Airport Anecdote time.

Took me the same time from curb to thru security at MCI (checking bags....16 minutes total) as it did to do the same thing on a Monday morning at ORD through American...and most of my time in ORD was spent with a gate agent straightening out bag tickets from a missed connection.  It took me 1 minute longer than kci to go from curb, check bags, to thru security (including immigration/customs) in Montreal.

It took me 3 minutes more to get off the plane in Toronto to ground transportation (including clearing immigration and customs) as it did for me to get off the plane and be at the curb at kci....that's not to mention the 15 minutes it took me to get from curb to my car.

Convenience. Lol.

I flew out of KCI on Friday on SW and the entire experience was quick, efficient, and very enjoyable.

glad to see ORD and YUL are stepping up their game and competing with the big boys of the airport industry

as evidenced by sly titola's post, mci offers a world class experience.  it's amazing how a small contingent of anti-kansas city people will try to ruin the mci experience for others, pretty sad actually

Last night was some of the most peaceful sleep I've ever had in my life. Thankfully we don't have a basement, so I enjoyed the storms immensely.

has the Californo's shooting been discussed.  I haven't been following the Westport street privatization discussion.  I assume this shooting is a blow to the anti-privatization crowd?

this one was a record.  big deal until you realize they've only been tracking flood levels there since aught 4 but it's been flooding for as long as this clam homesteaded here

it needs to be fixed. is it a corp of engy job or a state or a city job?  who's going to pay for this when we have streetcar lines to lay and taxes to defer?

To the contrary both shootings this weekend we're outside of their proposed DMZ times/streets. It proves their solution won't fix anything.

I stopped the clock after security but kci would obviously be shorter than ORD. ...after customs at YUL the gate was actually very close so that time was similar.

It's not the right solution for their stated problem.

It won't help. The problems aren't happening in the area they want to take over right now. They are already happening in the fringe surrounding the streets they want and into the neighborhoods. It's a v horrible solution that doesnt help anything but give the bars streets for free.

No amount of research has been done or data presented that supports their plan.

4 cities got non stops to Iceland today. Maybe we can fly from our convenient airport to Cincinnati to enjoy it.
