My morning run turned into more of a vision quest.  Slowed the pace and enjoyed the views.  All this in a 9.5 mile loop 20 minutes from home.

I've been applying to a permit lottery for a particular hike almost every month for a couple years now.  Kinda sucks, but someday if I actually get one I will enjoy not being mobbed by other hikers.

Great summer for bull moose encounters.  Just about smacked into one on a trail run.  Another walked right through our campground.  A couple from a distance.  And now these two.

Maybe!  I am staying with family so we will see.  They are basically preparing for the apocalypse there so I'm not sure how this will turn out.
