I mean there was a dude in the 'driverless' car, & she wasn't in a crosswalk. If she popped out between parked cars along a street, how does a human driver do any better?

there's no way a person driving could have avoided it. i'm surprised the technology isn't there where it detects the pedestrian with lasers and crap.
