I use butter for 2 things.

1. Putting it on toast.

2. Sauteing things in a frying pan.

Yes I get bread crumbs all over the stick of butter when I smash it all around but its not that big of a deal. Worst case scenario there are a couple small bread crumbs the next time I throw some veggies or meat in a skillet but I honestly never notice them.

If you use butter for more than these 2 things you should probably cut back on your butter intake.

Haven't tried it with toast but it's my go-to technique for corn on the cob.  Way easier than chasing around a melting pat of butter.

I butter a slice of bread and then wrap that around the corn cob.

I like this idea.

What do you do with the bread afterwards?  Discard it, eat it, use it again for seconds? Pass it around the table?

No amount of PI is going to make me feel shame for effortlessly covering a piece of toast with calcium and vitamin D fortified vegetable spread.

Which is delicious btw.

gross

how long do your sweet corn picks last? I swear to God they're always breaking. I'd be willing to pay a lot of money for a set that lasts longer than 1 month.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

I saw this thing called a Hot Topper in a Facebook classifieds page and I really want to try it for buttering corn now...

how long does it take to melt the bullets?

do you keep it plugged in all the time like a countertop hot water dispenser?

does it melt all the ammo at once and then just squirt or does it just melt on demand?

The bad:  Went swimming in Olympic pool this morning, knowing that a class would be starting in that pool before I finished my laps.  I knew they would have to ask me to leave the pool at some point before I finished.

The good:  Holy cats!  Lots of attractive, reproductively fit young females were in the class waiting for me to exit the pool.  Have not been around that many nubile, scantily clad females since the last time I was at a strip club.

I hope these young females that you were oggling were at least 18 years old.

The shame in all this is that they were mostly young married women who had to go to the pool at 5:30am to get their workouts in--I presume so that they could get their laps in before their family woke up.
