apparently if you change dog foods, you should mix the new food in with the old food a few times to make the transition easier on the stomach. this is more for puppies than dogs iirc

I've read that, but I don't feel like that will help me learn what she likes best.

These new types shouldn't be causing any stomach trauma; they're all supposed to be very comparable ingredient-wise to the existing artisan.

Every time we switched our dog's food he would eat it like it was his favorite thing in the world, then throw up and eat it less than his old food. I wouldn't worry too much about preferences. If the food is nutritionally balanced and your dog eats it when they're supposed to I'd stick with what works.

Yeah even if it's similar dog food it's still gonna mess with her stomach. My wife decided to do this once and she came home to a dog crate full of diarrhea.

I don't think Payton would ever have the audacity to crap inside, let alone liquid crap.

I'm thinking I'll get 5 mini-bowls for the 5 different kinds and see what she likes to go for first.

Life jackets - I went to the artisan food store and the only one they had was this one for $80: https://www.amazon.com/Ruffwear-Float-Jacket-Orange-Medium/dp/B01MY7SZFQ?th=1

I'd looked at amazon before and saw they could be had for closer to $20, so I passed on getting that one to come home and reevaluate.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K4TUOQ6?th=1

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071L8SFT7?psc=1

The reviews for all of them are good.  What's the deal?

I noticed when I got home that I'd bought so much artisan food that I now have a $20 credit, so I guess I could get the artisan life jacket for $60, but still.

Unless it's a thing that any sub-$80 life jacket doesn't float, that pink fish one looks great.

Your dog has to go to a 4 hour interview to see if he/she can get accepted to daycare? SMDH. Do you have to go to the interview too?
