Catman, as a Kansas transplant in Tulsa since 1998 I can give you some suggestions but I don't know what ages your kids are so I will try to make suggestions for all.

1) Utica Square is our own little shopping version of the Plaza in KC. If you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch I recommend The Wild Fork in Utica Square.
2) If your family likes the outdoors I recommend taking a family hike up and through Turkey Mountain. They have a variety of marked trails for all levels. I would warn you not to go too late as it is easy to get lost in the dark up there, a mistake my wife and I made years ago..
3) The Blue Dome District. More shopping with Tulsa historic flare. Located in the NE part of downtown this area runs along the historic Route 66. While you are there I would recommend taking your kids to the Dust Bowl which is a retro 1970's era bowling alley with food and old style video games. My family and I go there regularly.
4) The Aquarium in Jenks was recommended in a post above. I have not been there but have heard good things if you or your family members like that type of thing. While you are out there I would also try the Flying Tee Golf. It is the same thing as Top Golf in KC but I really think it is better. The set-up is similar in that they have 3 levels with individual bays for a very unique driving range experience. They have fun targets and then the simulator has world famous courses like St. Andrews, Augusta, Pebble {each and many others that you can play. Fun family atmosphere and really good food and spirits.
5) Downtown Tulsa has some amazing old architecture from the tallest building in Downtown the BOK building which was designed by Minoru Yamasaki who designed the 2 towers of World Trade Center that went down on 9/11. The BOK building is a 60% replica of the World Trade Center Towers. Another cool old building is the Philtower (as in Phillips 66) The lobby of this building is like walking back in time with stone and marble all imported from Europe this building is fun to see. Art Deco is a vibrant part of our down town experience as well as beautiful 130 year old churches inspired by European gothic architecture and paid for by east coast transplants that came here during the oil boom. There are a couple companies offering family Segway tours of downtown.
6) The Brady District: Just north of downtown this revitalized area is home to the Brady Theater and Cains Ballroom. Filled with local art exhibits, unique shopping and fun restaurants this area is fun to walk. It is also near our Triple A baseball [ark Oneok Field.
7) The Box Yard is another very unique shopping area near downtown. The entire facility is made from old train rail cars. It is actually about 2 blocks east of the Dust Bowl if you want to walk from there after bowling.
8) Tulsa Air & Space Museum is always fun for those air & space enthusiasts but not near as cool as the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson.
9) Philbrook Museum of Art is a fantastic museum that is also the home of Waite Phillips (Phillips 66 founder) They have world renowned paintings and beautiful outdoor gardens you can walk through.
10) The Gilcrease Museum is great for enthusiasts of Native American art and history. It is located west of downtown.
11) The Baseball Hall of Fame has a massive setup just outside Oneok field all this week that is cool. Buy your discount tickets at Elgin Park across the street. Elgin Park has great pizza and beer.

Aquarium is pretty good.
Not sure if Tulsa Drillers are in town.
Gilcrease Museum is well thought off.

2 cents. It's the people, not the places.

Vacations are about 75% the people you're with, and 25% the place you're at. Vacations can be a blast damn near anywhere if you're with the right people. So when people trash a vacation spot, they've probably had bad experiences somewhere in the past, probably with bad people/a bad group, or they're the super lame ones themselves.

I've got a group of friends/family that can have a crazy good (probably cause drugs) time in nowhere South Dakota or somewhere terrible, because we're awesome. But at the same time, I also have some friends/family that could make even a trip to Paris suck ass and be completely miserable.

Lived here since 1973. PurpleOkie's list is pretty good. Sorry to say I have not been to the Aquarium at all, nor the zoo in several years.
Downtown is worth a walk, and try to get ahold of a self-guiding tour brochure to explain what you are seeing. In addition to the Philtower lobby, walk across the street and - hopefully open- the Philcade Building lobby. It's a Gilt Trip, and not the bad kind requiring a psychologist. Both built by Waite Phillips. Downtown is in midst of revival- hotels, apartments both new and in older converted office buildings-- just like everywhere else.
Brady Arts district has lots of places to eat & drink as well as about 5 or 6 art galleries/museums, among them the Woody Guthrie museum. Until I went there I was "meh-what can they have?" But I was impressed by the presentation, which may be more compelling when they actually house the recently acquired Bob Dylan collection. There are also branches for Philbrook and Gilcrease museums as well as the Zarrow art center. And more. My neighbor owns the Art Bar and displays a lot of his personal collection. Stop in in the evening and if Kelly or Katy are there, tell them Bill sent you and said to say hi.
Blue Dome is linked to Brady- adjacent districts, different vibe. Both have lots of selections for bars and restaurants. One of my favorite places if you want to wind down at the end of the evening and want a quiet drink and nibbles- Try the Gypsy Coffee House. Good pastries, coffees, teas, soft drinks, maybe some beers. Lot of overstuffed quirky furniture and wanna-be hipsters and hippies. Youngish crowd, sometimes with live music. Aspires to be San Francisco or NYC Village. Across street from the Guthrie Green- a SUPERB 1 block square public park. Dazzling at night if it is all lighted up. Music shell, lots of space to plop down on the grass. Has a small restaurant.
Beautiful: Woodward Park at 21 & Peoria- a hop from Utica Square. Park is adjacent to the Tulsa Rose Garden, Tulsa Garden Center, and Tulsa Historical Society Museum. Last 2 are converted oil mansions.
Also check out Cherry Street District (15th Street between Peoria and Utica). Quirky shops, restaurants and bars. Take your wife to Rustic Cuff-- seems to be a local jewelry hot spot. Lines out the doors?!
I went to the Air & Space museum a few years ago for a KSU Alumni event. Nice, small, get up close to some of the aircraft. Has a planetarium I believe. Not seen that. At the north end of Tulsa International Airport, and across the street from the zoo in Mohawk Park (HUGE park).
See if there are any events at the BOK center (Bank of Oklahoma Arena). Major national concert and event venue. Incredible facility. Even just to walk into the lobby is a treat . At the opposite end of the Brady/Blue Dome districts from the ONG baseball stadium. Stadium is a smallish very new 6000 seat park. AA ball for the Drillers team. You will wonder why it is oriented the way it is (batters face south-southeast). (Only way it would fit).
If you are a gamblin' man, there are 3 major casinos, with 2 of them major resorts: HardRock on the far east side on I-44 (Cherokee nation and therefore motifs). RiverSpririt on South Riverside south of 81st. Just opened their Margaritaville casino wing and high-rise hotel/resort (Creek nation, and therefore maybe motifs). And on the northwest side 10 minutes from downtown up the Tisdale Expressway is the Osage Casino. Not as big or splashy-- yet. Convenient.
Lots of new hotels downtown- which filled up when the NCAA BB regionals were here this year. From 5 star (The Mayo), usual chains, trendy (Aloft). I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown recently and found it very refurbished and comfortable.
Bartlesville is an easy 45 minutes drive north up US75 if you want to check out small town oil wealth with the iconic Price Tower (worth the time). How freaking small are those Frank Lloyd Wright elevators anyhow??! Phillips Petr has a museum there too. The Taliesen-designed Performing Arts center is a gem. FLW weird, of course, but acoustics in the main hall are superb.
If you like to run or bicycle, River Parks trails on the east and west side of the Arkansas go for miles. Path is interrupted on the east side between 26th and 36th streets for construction of the new Gathering Place- a 250 million dollar park open next year. Bicycle "rental" stand at 21st & Riverside - put your credit card info in as security for return of the bike, but as I understand it- otherwise rental is free. Runners and bikers have their own lanes on the path. Adjacent is the Blue Rose Cafe hanging out over the river. Sports bar with killer (and somewhat pricey) hamburgers. But worth a visit for quality burgers and beer.
But my favorite greasy burger place is Ron's Hamburgers at 15 & Denver. Open til 8pm but closed Sundays. Clean, bright, lots of tables, rarely half full, great staff. Still the kind of place that grills the buns and delivers them greasy on top. Fries are super. Heart attack on a plate!

I can break that down more tomorrow, but I fell out of my bed laughing when I saw Rustic Cuff on the list.  Surprised he didn't just tell him to drive to Pawnee to go to the Pioneee Woman store.
