Needs to be fired for someone with brains and balls. Against a game of evidence to the contrary this dumbass (and I'm not sorry to say I don't know his name) decides this time on fourth and long with the game on the line our d-backs will make a stop.

it seems the bend but dont break defense, which allows moving the ball and focuses on making stops inside the 20, is not the optimal strategy when trying to prevent a field goal

A lot of you don't pay attention or know what you are watching. We blitzed a lot and got beat in man defense. Do you think Burns was in zone all those times? My goodness.

Mainly upset we never tried to jump the hitches and outs they threw. They went to those all day. And our lack of pressure when we blitzed and just rushed four was a huge issue

Yep. Blitzing with Burns in man coverage was the problem. He just couldn't make a play on the ball. He had a great view of the final touchdown drive.

We will beat KU and ISU, that's it. We are in full scale 2004 mode, losing close games because of poor defense and special teams sucking.

Special Teams did block an extra point, which led to them going for 2, which led to our late lead even being a real life thing

Our special teams haven't been that bad and also we just won in triple overtime. We lost by two points to a ranked team in a place where we've lost close games the last 17 times we've gone there. This is not 2004.
