All things considered, pretty amazing that the cats were in this game until the very end (on the road, no less). Almost pulled it out. Highly entertaining, at least.

It is bullshit that we lost. OSU is not a good football team, yet we couldn't get a stop.

My view of the defense is you just can't play "keep it in front of you" against spread offensives unless your D-line can get consistent pressure. You have to bring more bodies. When we did that today, we had success. We we played it safe, we got burned -- again, again and again.
Christ can't Lee back on the D-line if we aren't going to blitz?

We miss Dante badly.

K-State simply will never have the depth of talent to absorb losses like this for long stretches of time.

Still, the missed FG, then missed 2 point stand out. Plus the botched drive with 1st and 10 at the OSU 30. Plus the incoherent offense (players and coaches alike) in the 3rd. Plus the ridiculous quarterback injuries we've seen this year.

We blitzed a ton and got beat in man situations too. Hayes was trying to do everything on defense.

We may have gotten beat a few times on blitzes (I can remember once), but I can't think of one stop we got on a third and long when rushing four. It just didn't work.

The idea that we just need to "blitz" more on defense is silly. The whole unit is just bad. Only KU has a worse defense.

Maybe Texas, but we'll see.
