Another offense held to season lows by Mob 2.0

This isn't a fluke.... Our D is legit. Can't wait to show everyone in Norman so we're finally validated.

I think you're right but it's weird because we're not great at sacks and sometimes it seems like the pass D is soft. Yet we continue to shut teams down.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I think the front 4 not being able to get any real pressure is going to be problematic when we actually play good teams that throw the ball (Baylor, OU) and our lack of athleticism at LB (should dakorey continue to be out) against TCU where they actually use their QB as a dual threat guy, not just another RB who occasionally throws it to WR's who may or may not catch it.

I worry about it too, but I do think we do ok with qb pressure but don't actually finish with sacks often. But the right qb, that might not be enough.

I'm good with the tipped/batted down passes.

the big 12 is full of decently mobile qbs. it's tough to get sacks when the pocket collapses.

I think our coaches have stressed the importance of keeping qb's in pocket above sacks.  We are collapsing pocket and making qb's uncomfortable, even if we aren't getting sacks.

In addition to this we have not played sack prone qb's other than Richardson and we had no problem getting to him. Webb has not been sacked all year.

I agree with this, but the LBs are going to have to control the QB run game.

Green and Johnson have to be healthy. I think we all agree on that. Drop off is enormous.

This.  I'm surprised more people aren't talking about Green going down.  Having Schelly back there in Big12 play is a rough ridin' disaster.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

So.....how bad is green hurt?  Do we expect Dakorey to play against OU?

Remember when the 2011 defense had great stats to start the season?

Green was hammering people last night. His tackling was the best part of the game for me. I am depressed about his injury, hope it's not serious.

Did the stud from blue springs redshirt?

Dakorey didn't dress last night. I didn't see Riddle or Derricott on the sidelines. Clinkscales sat alone on the bench for much of the second half.

We really need Johnson and Green this season and we have to have the juco LBs for next season. I really hope these guys are all in good status.

I'm pretty sure Prewett has played some on special teams.

Yes he has, a couple of snaps on defense too.

Clinkscales sitting is one of the most questionable things I think.
Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

He played some against utep. I pretty much assume he'll never be a major factor.

Ya. Won 10 games..went to the Cotton Bowl. ? Am I missing something?

The biggest weakness is depth obviously. We don't cheat enough to have three Travis Greens on the roster.
