Wade is official.

Three person class of Brown, Cobb and Wade is pretty salty. I assume we are going to over sign.

Isn't 3 over signing already?

They are just verbals now.

should be skeptical of Cobb's commitment status at this point (and thus a need to oscar jack). Dante Hales-Williams is a straight up center, wouldn't be hosting him if Cobb's status was solid. by this (sh*tty) logic, jack is still safe and we should continue to host more recruits. If, on the other hand, we shut it down that definitely means Cobb is 100% coming and jack is gone. wait and see

Let's be honest. Jack Krap is playing with K-State house money this year.

Cobb isnt making grades and will end up at a prep school next year. Contingency plans are being made if Foster leaves early as well.

HCBW in Cunningham Friday before our game in Wichita.  Watching Claws?  St. John small forward 6'7 180 lbs.  Rivals has him 3 stars, and being recruited by WSU and us.  Anyone know anything about him?  Had 21 pts in their 78-26 win.

College ball can be a cruel business, but we have to pull out all stops to get better - goodbye Jackhop K.  I am sure they will throw you a log when flushed to hang onto - do hope you land at a good place though. Then who do we go after, Mitchell, Blackshear, Silva, a center, or Roach if we haven't poisoned the water? Mitchell and Silva iintrigue me the most.

The staff will probably be ready to take any elite talent they can sign.

The fundamental spot left to fill with this class is the 5 man. However, we'd be making a mistake to give up on signing another SG. it may not be good for chemistry but you can't fault a coach for protecting himself against possible transfers. JT was supposedly ready to go at the end of last season. Marcus' stock might be highest alongside Justin (Jake and Clemente?), if he leaves alongside him the cupboard will be bare. oscar won't stop, can't stop now  :emawkid: he likes the way it makes him feel :ump:

If we replaced Cobb with Silva, this would be one dreamy class, although it will be tough to beat out Villanova to get him.

Seems Coach Weber's family friendly approach is yielding better recruits than Coach Martin did the last few years.  I read once where HS coaches in the region steered their kids from KSU.  We lost out on some good kids.  The article in the KC Star about the D-Wade commit mentions why he did - family atmosphere and seriousness when time to work.  Players seemed like a family to him. Sounds like a team that will go to war for each other and play hurt if needed to win.

Chris Silva -- Wildcat.  Goes together good.  Articles about this kid say he would be a nugget and the sky is the limit.  He is from Gabon, Africa and only has played organized BB for 3 years.  He kept Karl Towns (Kentucky stud recruit) in check at the NJ state HS tournamet.  Villinova seems to be fading with SO Carolina making headway. He says he will make a visit to KSU.  If he does, I hope he get the charming Weber whamo.  Then get the signing pen working!!!!!

Silva would be an upgrade over Cobb.
