I was talking w/ my neighbor last weekend, and his sons play for Blue Valley North.  I guess the QB there this year is pretty good.  He is a JR, has an offer from KU already, and he's getting looked at by Texas, ND, etc.

I guess they're pretty bullish on winning state this year. I'm gloriously ignorant to local high school football, but his name is Graham Mertz.  Has a Hudl clip.  Looks pretty good.  6'4", 200(ish).

I doubt we'll be on the radar, but probably worth keeping an eye on.  Probably ends up being a high 3/low 4 star talent.

I saw him live a week or so ago. Really good arm, but he's not asked to run at all in their offense (at least he wasn't when I saw him). They spread 4 or 5 and throw quick, more like Texas Tech. BVN also has some nice recievers and a defensive end committed to KU.

I suggest you should be more concerned that Mo Lattimore is still on our staff and active in the recruiting process. I remember him from when he was an assistant and I went to the Mizzou football camp during my freshman year in high school and I'm now in my 40s.

Congrats to the young man, but I'm not getting too excited.  In 15 career games at UVA he had 2 tackles and its not like UVA is so stacked that he was buried on the depth chart either.
