I think my favorite part out of all of this is KU fans playing the "what if this happened" game on things that didn't happen. :lol:

I think my favorite part is all of the K-State fanboys who are writing off unprovoked violence like it's some sort of normal, everyday thing.
Or KU fans playing off a bump as battery cause their pride got hurt with the loss. :lol:

Do you even know what battery is and how minor contact can be and still be considered battery?

#LIFE has actually been a pretty solid poster today.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

That is awful

the truly awful part is not townsend's actions, it's KU fan's complete denial that the scumbag has been their bagman for the past decade

KU fans complaining about the banana incident from 1978 grows tiresome.  How quickly they forget it was a merely a response to the antics orchestrated by ku students a few weeks before.  From the February 25, 1983 LJ World:

"In January 1978, KU fans at Allen Fieldhouse tossed hot dogs onto the court when flashy Wildcat Curtis Redding was introduced, as an indication of his gregarious on-court manner. . . . The Cat fans responded in kind the following month, tossing more than 100 bananas onto the court when Jayhawk Donnie Von Moore was introduced in front of a Manhattan crowd."

Hot dogs = not racist

Bananas = definitely racist

Didn't Von Moore eat the bananas and shrug off the whole thing? At least that's what I have heard of the story.

Yeah I'm not suggesting it did. I just wondered if that is actually part of the story.

Yep.  Keeping a stable of porn stars, a stash of potdrugs, and good knows what else.  Recruiting go to.

Well Traylor does have a history of being a violent thug, so I'd say we got pretty lucky, Landon.

I'm making fun of your fellow phogtard who said "he has natural tendencies (he's black) towards aggression and violence".

Just seems to me that everyone in Lawrence would be more apt to apologize if they weren't all potted up on weed all the time. :twocents:

As a guy who was there when the hot dogs were thrown at Curtis Redding, I can assure you they were not followed by comments of "Curtis, you black person you".
