#9 kind of gets in on principle alone. 8manpick, whether sober, drunk, trippin' or high will tell you the hands down best song of the 90's is "Tubthumpin'" by Chumbawumba. He literally hates every other song by them, but the fact that they could turn out a hit song like "Tubthumpin" gets them on the list.

remember that time when he made you line all of those drinks up at the bar and then stood there and sang the whole song and would drink each drink after every verse. i drink a whiskey drink (drink)!, i drink a....

just classic 8mp right there.

and then when he started undoing his belt during the "pissing the night away" interlude but dax jumped up and pulled his hands away!

classic dax/8mp right there

im a little confused as to why ksdizzuce feels the need to hijack 8mps thread about his list (that he made himself) and turn it into his own list where 8mps name is on it. like, is this a cry for attention or what?  :dunno:
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

#10 on the list of 8mp's top 10 90's songs has got to be "All the Small Things" by Blink 182.

Honorable Mention: "No diggity" by BLACKstreet and "Everlong" by Foo Fighters.

I will fight you for making fun of either of those songs.

OT: I've kind of got the hang of putting lists like this up, although _FAN might be able to clean up the picture formatting there a bit.  If anybody wants to blog their own lists or really anything about anything, I'll put it up.  It's not as prestigous as the medical journal 'clams and fatty got published in, but still CV-worthy IMO.

I can help if needed.

And if anyone chooses to make fun of quality music like BLACKstreet/No Diggity again I may have to fight them.

8mp really needs to post his top ten to save this thread. It's going in a bad, albeit mildly humorous, direction.

P.S. I'll take a stab at 8mp's top ten.

1. RHCP
2. Radiohead
3. Sublime
4. 3eb
5. The Offspring
6. Bush
7. Alice in Chains
8. NIN
9. Green Day
10. Weezer

That top 5

I have a few different but overall this is a pretty great list. Obviously 8mp can judge good music a lot better than Stevesie.

We've got room for a Top 10 Fred Durst Lyrics list or something on the blog...

I wish I could think of a band worse than The Offspring. I can't though.

I would put Radiohead above 3EB and RHCP.  And Smashing Pumpkins should be on that list somewhere (IMO!).  But good list overall.

like that you included third eye blind.  i wrote them off while they were doing their thing, but started listening to them about a year or so ago.  one of my favorite things to do is a 2am headphone session of "the background", "motorcycle drive by", and "god of wine" - that's such a great three songs to close out the album.  motorcycle drive by is probably my favorite song of theirs, but thumbs up
