I mean sure we all know that the Mets are going to be livin large and steppin easy on May 1st but do we have any reason to be optimistic beyond that?I'll have fun watching the Francisco boys. I think we have a decent chance of sneaking into the playoffs, but starting pitching might be our downfall. We don't have a true number one, and that was before Senga got delayed.
J. D. will help take stress off the black hole known as the Mets DH. But that's only if he stays healthy.
3rd base is going to be trouble, but the rest of the defense should be fine.
If Marte can get back to form then this team might even be dangerous on offense.
