I’ve learned that ProgLibs just hate peace, good will, good relations these days.

A total 180.   Sad

Next up, a ProgLb Meltdown over any trust but verify statements.  Preferring just giving billions to sworn enemies so they can get stronger.

two interesting scenarios

1) they have a working nuke and don’t need to actively test anymore
2) the last test was rumored to have failed disastrously and may have killed a large percentage of their nuclear team.

Either way pretty interesting development on the surface at least.

Although to be fair, it was suspected to a large extent that they fubar'd the test site, so perhaps nbd.

So is the rule of nuclear testing in totalitarian states, one nuclear test site only?

(Say that last part like Sean Connery saying “one ping only” in The Hunt for Red October”)

I’d be surprised, but if they say they are and let us monitor then we can really whip his his ass if we catch him lying.

I’m going to be hopefully optimistic.  A trust but verify type situation

What part of trust by verify confuses you?  (already mentioned in this thread)

Look trump whipped his ass no doubt about it.  It’s ok to discuss the nuance of how we arrived here.

we were supposed to follow your non-sense scatterbrain post knowing some random "Next up, a ProgLb Meltdown over any trust but verify statements." meant you were only comfortable with this if we are going in to NK and seeing the status of nukes?  Bad BBS'n.

I think this turn of events can be credited to Trump and Pompeo.
Leftist want nuclear war more than peace.
They are trying to destroy the peacemaker Trump. Democrats  Senators  are hell bent on screwing Americans by voting against Pompeo.
Left = communists

Saying any party wants nuclear war automatically moves you to major idiot category and you have to say something start to recover.

I admit over dramatic, but why can't Democrats give some platitudes to Trump and team.  The more radical left seems only about going sorch earth on Trump and associates.  Yes, rabid republicans were guilty of this too with Obama.

radical people of any party or belief are always going to be dickheads.  It's why they are always losers who end up poor and lonely.  normal society chooses not to deal with them.

This is the entire problem rn with these discussions. Semi normal people latch on to some insane thing they see online about what the extreme portion of "the other team" does and uses that as examples of what the whole other team is doing.

Look like fools doing it...stop.

As for this news...great if true but literally nothing official has come out and everybody is supposed to bow down and priase Trump's job on this? Come on.

Most of us know that those loons are unproductive members of society and will end up living in Wichita or some other place where no one with choices goes.  We can take a look at the NK deal when it's fully announced and make a decision.  The victory lap right now is for said loons

i've been trying to avoid posting on this issue about how all yall are kinda dumb, but all yall are kinda dumb.  no crap they aren't going to test any nukes before their big meeting with the president of the united states which is a huge coup for them.  you shouldn't have needed a press release to tell you that.

Oh sys, thanks for bringing your “everybody knows this” talking points.

Let’s just keep going down the path of the last 30 years.  That’s worked out so very very well.

Does the President actually think NoKo (hot new urban district with tons of residential/commercial mixed use developments) has agreed to denuclearize? His recent tweet seems to suggest that. Or perhaps is this a negotiation tactic? My money is on the former, in which case he's not going to be pleased in a few months.
