another rough ridin' lineman jesus

they are announcing walkons dummy

In the past they have not announced preferred walkons on signing day, but do announce grey shirts as I recall.

last year they announced every rough ridin' walk-on under the sun

jeb drost had a walk-on offer from Iowa as well.

I'm assuming Ash is being listed in this class because he was just put on scholarship

do you know of any other former walkons getting scholarships, Cole?

Also, someone other than Reuter is going to grayshirt, or we're going to lose at least one underclassman to attrition, because, again, by my count, what we have in this class brings us to 86.

Hmm I guess I didn't realize we were already at our limit.

I think the out-going senior class only has ~17 scholarship players in it.

edit: 19

You need to add kids that were former walk-ons that are on the two deep.  Bill has, in the past, given kids that crack the two deep a scholarship the following year.

Guys I have on my list of 24:

QB (1): Waters
RB (1): Robinson
FB (1): Nemecheck
WR (2): Sexton, Lockett
TE (1): Trujillo
OL (3): Liddle, Finney, Bennett
DT (3): Roberts, Coleman, Brown
DE (3): Dowling, Mueller, Godinet
LB (4): Johnson, Marley, Snyder, Truman
S (4): Bonugli, Heibert, Green (though he may get a redshirt), Schellenburg
CB (1): Evans

I mistakenly counted Nate Jackson, and he redshirted this year.  If Green gets a redshirt, then it will be 23.

that's the out-going junior class. I was trying to count scholarships in this year's senior class (Zimmerman, Walker, Miller etc.)

A little bit of information:

+They're still busy trying to flip Williams and Robertson.

+There were two extra LOIs prepared, hearing they are for Moala and Riddle (but haven't been able to confirm), even though both seemingly are set to go elsewhere. Another contact said: "There's smoke around both of them, so I would keep an eye on them." Again, not saying anything will happen with them, but wanted to pass along what I heard.

why on earth did the staff cancel Moala's visit if they are prepping an LOI for him?

who ends up being the bigger stud/boss, Wrench or Avery?  I'm going to have to say Wrench because he's a local kid, and he already knows how to rep Rock Chalk.

if true, we've done that with Moala, Knight and Walton now. so either the staff has secured some silent commits or the staff are complete idiots.

AJ Bush puts WAY to much air under the ball. He's going to get picked non-stop in college.

On Crabby's Reddit AMA that going on right now, some FSU poster just asked him a question that should be prime for a goEMAW name-drop....

Do you frequent any discussion boards as either an active poster or just as a observer? If you do, which and why?
Your username is obviously not going to be asked about, I just wondered what discussion boards (if any) you frequented and if there was anything particular that made you either enjoy or love to hate about that board and the participants therein?
This, of course, is not meaning as an AMA participant, but instead, as a "normal fan" of sorts.

I don't participate on forums, and mainly lurk. It helps from a news coverage standpoint, but I also really like to view forums to help get the pulse of fan bases. But also with Twitter, that's honestly the easiest way for me consume many of the things forums provide in real time.

Why have you forsaken us, Crabby?
