Kansas State Football / Re: Who will be our new OC?

Is going to be Connor Riley

Everything is just kind of a bummer lately.

Did we like the offense we were running or not?
I feel like a decent portion of the fan base has a bit of a fetish for thinking they're getting kicked in the nuts

Red Meat for the Kenn and TMCATS crew: O Line Coach calling plays, use of fullback position, going under center a lot, jumbo Joe Hall backfield, throw to tight end, run the ball and enjoy it, DO NOT go for it on fourth down!

A&M seems like a disgusting spot. The fake army stuff, costumes, weird band. Although Klein is a religious guy, never thought of him as wacko.

Flipped this kid from Wyoming. Nice size/speed profile for a db. No other P5 offers.

That is the most K-State recruiting flip there is, guy from MWC with no other offers.

Holgerson is going to get fired if Houston does not go to a bowl. His buyout is 15 million and Houston has two big money boosters. Gary to Houston makes sense.

I legit don't think I can remember a single player over the last decade at KSU that has missed a game due to a back injury but maybe I'm wrong.  I think I just need to let it go, I feel like I've gone way too far down the tin foil hat rabbit hole on this one.

In 1998 I know Travis Ochs had a concussion, it was "mild" and he did the right thing and played all four quarters for  :billdance: in the altitude at Boulder. A quality youngster for sure.

When was the last time we were dogs against KU? 2009 or2010?

Probably wanted to see KU win once in person at Memorial Stadium!

Kansas State Football / Re: Fire Chris Klieman

Back to reality... I do find it interesting that Klieman probably has about the same WTF losses in 5 years that Synder had in all of Synder 1.0 or 2.0. Klieman obviously also has the highs of beating teams like OU, but still.

There's a fair bit of comfort in knowing you're going to beat the teams you should and lose to the teams you should. And Klieman is taking a massive dump all over that concept.

Is that better/worse?

Snyder 2.0? You're misremembering the crap out of that. Snyder 2.0 was good for two seasons. This team is better that any pre or post Klein QB'd team that Snyder 2.0 had. crap, for that matter Snyder 1.0 had entire WTF seasons, '01 and '04 immediately come to mind.

2011, 2012, 2014, 2016 are all better than 2023 team
2013, 2017 are the same as this team

After Saturday games, everyone was allowed to go home. Bill and Sean stayed all night after the tv show. Bill making up for never seeing him for most of his childhood. Great coach, not a great dad when they were younger, making up for it now. The tv show was must see viewing. Way back when I was a kid they had the KSU and KU coaches shows back to back on Channel 13.

15
Andy Kennedy is the bet

16
They play UMass this season, Frank and Bob, oh boy

17
Bill Cunningham who is his pal in CIncy is a major a hole as well. Seriously how could any school not can his 400 pound ass right away? I'm sure Whitlock and Clay Travis will support what he said, but no one else. Coaching search at WVU should be interesting.

18
I had the honor of spending Saturday and Sunday in Omaha with my Husker in laws. Belief from them (There are actually Nebraska basketball fans) that Altman could happen if the Hoiberg could be dispatched cheaply. Dana must hate Oregon if he would entertain the move.

19
They will call Tang, polar opposite of tough guy thug Beard.

20
They would probably beat WVU since Saben is from Western Virginia, maybe get a win against the scrappy Cyclones in a close game, otherwise I can't find a win for Crimson

21
Can not see this being close. Anyone see how Texas controlled the ground? Klein will run the Snyder offense and it will be a laugher. 45 to 13 sounds right. Kli knows part of the reason Snyder is loved has to do with the massive beatdowns of KU

So a potential 9 and 4 team goes to the Sugar? I'd rather play Bama than LSU, would be fun to hear a three hour tribute to  :billdance: and get to play an all timer.

Gosh, hard to see any difference in these two guys. I wonder why Jimbo has a longer leash.

Worked for Travis Ochs the morning of 1998 Nebraska, thus it can work in 2022
