Burgers: 2/7
Fries: 7/7

Walsh's Corner Cocktail
Burger- 6/7
Fries- 2/7

this place gets great yelp reviews but I was really concerned when I got there and there was one person in the restaurant/bar

fries are terrible but maybe they just did not survive the drive home

the burger was basic AF but the rough rider surprised me.  looked like crap, tasted great!

$7.75 total before tip

had to drop my mbp off at the Apple Store this morning so pics have to wait until I get it back

today's edition of BURGERMANIA II brought me to the city's east side to jim's diner at 68th and prospect

these burgers are huge, I ordered a double cheese and it's a lot
one slice of cheese on top, one in the middle
grilled bun
skimpy toppings which is great b/c I usually pick most of them off
jim's diner burger rating:  7/7

fries.  real crinkle cut.  solid thickness. cooked until crispy and brown. survived the drive home.  still crispy and delicious.  good amount of sodium/NaCl.
fry rating: 6.8/7

cost: $12.50

Probably should ask them to do it. First time, so I totally get it. Mrs. Wacky hates it when the bacon isn't crispy, so no matter where we go now, we ask them if they can make sure the bacon is crispy. I guess just ask them next time if they toast their buns and then  :fatty: ;) at them.

Well, after a lifetime of being a server, I guess I've gotten over that fear, because everyone does it.

I totally get it. I'm very easily satisfied, Mrs. Wacky is a lot more pickier.

The last time we went to farmhouse (which I love), Mrs wacky asked if she could have scrambled eggs instead of the over easy on her sandwich that came with it. They told us the chef wouldn't do it and we've never been back since. They can get over their hipster selves.

I rate that cost a 2/7.  12 bucks for a burger and fries?  are you a millionaire or somethin' clams?
