JFC. Can you imagine, like, his 6th year?

We return the entire roster except for Clemente.

Clemente is arguably your best player.
Yes, experienced Seniors are typically the better players on most teams.

Clemente is arguably your best player.

on a good day.... On a bad day his bad shots don't fall, he turns the ball over and kills momentum.

On a good day, he's wreckless, but it works.  On a bad day, it's chaos.

I can't even count how many times Clemente has created something out of nothing.  K-State's offense has some of the worst off-the-ball movement I've ever seen, but Clemente will drive and hit a running floater, or nail an off-balance three.  He could be Frank Martin's Acie Law (the guy who made Billy Gillispie a multi-millionaire).

I agree with BMW on Denis.  He's by far our best player.

100 games and 69 wins.  Incredible.

69% winning percentage?  Meh.

He's had three #1 seeds, and his lowest seed at KU has been a #4.  STFU, hater.

Yeah... no Clemente, no Pullen, no Samuels, no Sutton.  A couple more Spradling/Southwell type classes and you guys will be back in the NIT in no time.

Hey, look... it's Tweetle Dee and Tweetle Dumb.  Self went to the Elite Eight in his first year at KU, and won multiple Big 12 titles by his 3rd year.  K-State hasn't sniffed an Elite Eight since 1988, and still hasn't won a Big 12 title.

PS - How many McDonald's All-Americans does Roy have at UNC right now?

Yeah.  Denis brings a lot to this team that will be hard to replace.  No doubt.

But, that's the funny thing about basketball.  Seniors graduate.  You know, like Collins.

So, like any other program, we'll have to pull from our underclassmen to replace strength at guard.  McGruder (Fr.), Irving (Fr.), Russell (Fr.).  Their styles all differ from Clemente's.  Hopefully one of them will be a good fit as a consistent starter.

The point remains, our ENTIRE roster returns except for Clemente.  I expect a good little run out there in Manhattan.

Lou and Energy are also gone.  But I would have to believe that Spri/Judge would be an upgrade.

Frank Martin could learn a thing or two from bill self about dirty recruiting and making teams miss free throws IMO.

What was Self doing during his 3rd year as a D1 HC?  He led ORU to a 18-9 record and they did not even make the NIT.   Seems kind silly on your part to try and belittle Frank's career by pointing out Self's successes 17 years into his career.  But your fear of Coach Martin is certainly no surprise to me.
