Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Re: Master Dudes Thread

can self do anything without a team full of 5 stars? he hasn't had to coach players up, and even with teams that are majority 5 stars for over almost 20 years only managed to win one title thanks to a lucky shot.

they're handing out 4 stars to everyone now, muscadin and their juco guy would be 3 stars in the past. 3/5 recruits last year are 100+ types. self has never had this little talent. while that means most of our own class would be 3 stars in the old system oscar has proven he can get far in the tourney without top talent. they'll be good this year but in the future, seats going to get hot.

The little cuck bitch has 1 trip past the round of 64 in the last 8 years

Sounds like it was a possible road rage incident near the building

Look at oscar having his guys in mid-season form already

It really sticks in your craw that oscar Weber recruited, and coached, a final four caliber team these last two years and was dealt a horrible unlucky blow two years in a row. I'm not pulling this stuff out of a hat. Chris Beard, who is now coaching in the championship game, said that Kansas State was a championship team. He was right. I've seen a lot of great basketball up close, in my day, and I posted that this Kansas State team possessed that kind of greatness when they had their full team on the court. I'm right about this. They had the same kind of great defense that has led Texas Tech to the championship game.

This final four caliber team lost their most efficient player, two years in a row, just as the tournament began. Many claimed Coach Weber would not win with his own players. These will not allow that luck plays a huge part in who wins this tournament. Kansas State was as good, when healthy, as any team in this final four. Kansas State is every bit as good as Virginia and Texas Tech. That's the truth. But Kansas State did not have the good fortune that these two teams have had. First of all, Texas Tech went into this tournament with a better seed ( a seed that should have gone to Kansas State) and better health. Virginia, for heavens sake, has just won two games by a near miraculous turn of events. Let that sink in. If you don't think luck has a big hand in who advances through this tournament, then, you're living in a different world. Virginia was beaten twice and twice came back from the dead through a series of unbelievable ball bounces and happenings that would never happen again. With three seconds left, and down two, Virginia player dribbles the ball off his foot right before half court, picks it up and starts dribbling again. Once he gets by his defender, the defender fouls him because they have a foul to give. With less than two seconds left, Virginia gets bailed out on a desperation heave at the buzzer by a foul on a three pointer. You can't make this stuff up two weeks in a row. Virginia was destined to make the championship game this year.

You would have us believe that Chris Beard is where he is because he is a better coach than Weber and Texas Tech is a better team that Kansas State. How can you believe this when Beard and Texas Tech had a chance to separate themselves from Weber and the Cats through an eighteen game round robin? Through this 18 game round robin, Kansas State finished ahead of Tech and was seeded higher in the conference tournament.

Why isn't anyone after the great Fuckface Weber?

I am so relieved this torture is over. I turned the radio on once today, right before half, to get a score. We were up 10, and within 2 minutes, UCI had scored 9 in a row. That's what I got for turning the blasted radio on. I never went back again because, before the game started, I knew what was coming. I knew what was coming when the news, about Dean, broke before we even got a chance to celebrate the conference championship. At the time, I posted several times that we all should be happy with the conference championship while unseating KU in the process. I knew nothing else was coming this season when Dean went down. It wasn't because we couldn't win without him although it made it much more difficult. No. I knew it because I listen to what life is saying.

Our life is laid out ahead of time and there's nothing we can do to change the outcome. It's how we respond to the good and the bad that comes our way. This is what determines if we have character or not. If you have listened, you know what life has dictated for you. We can change little things. We can work like hell to become better, like The Flush, but even that work ethic was placed into him by a higher force. It's part of his brain chemistry, etc.

K-State fans: Listen to what the force has been saying to you for years. You are part of a fan base that gets to enjoy a certain amount of success, here and there, but you are not going to enjoy the big crown. You come close, like in 1998, but a strange power of force makes sure that the trophy of trophies is beyond reach. Who will forget the euphoria that swept over K-Statedom when the score was announced during that Texas A&M game?
the force lifted us up. Everything was set. K-State was leading by 17. The National Championship game was, finally, at hand...……Those were great football teams in the late 1990's and early 2000's, but it never happened.

It may change someday like it did for Boston and Chicago Cubs. It will happen when those fans, coaches, pass who are not meant to experience the pinnacle.

Our seniors finally whipped KU, but the very next day paid the price for doing so. Cartier Diarra went down with a freak hand fracture that never even happened on the court. Just as it looked as if everything was in place for an outright championship, Cartier goes down. Then right when Cartier is due to come back and the Cats are clicking, Dean breaks a foot just like clock work. Two years, same time, same result. You cannot make this stuff up. This is not mere coincidence...this is the force which hangs over Dean and K-State. Dean will get through it because he has the right character.

The NCAA sent our team, champions of the Big XII, 1,600 miles out to California so they could play an experienced California team that had never won an NCAA game. The pundits all picked K-State to lose because the pundits know the force which surrounds K-State and they knew what the NCAA was up to. The NCAA needs the Blue Bloods to advance and they need a few cinderella's to give the first week some exciting and thrilling moments. A Dean Wadeless K-State was the perfect choice. I read the vibe and that's why I predicted Barry would go down with foul trouble in the early going. Now, we're down two good players.

Yes, I'm relieved it's over and I've made a choice to not invest so much in this basketball thing. I'll support the student athletes and let the chips fall where they will.

I still hold out hope after every game I'll read a story about how the fuckface piece of crap who ignores his players out killing people got ran over while he was out on the court and hit his head and died

I really am. I watched the end of our game last night at TCU. After it was over, Jay Williams (I believe that's his name) was mad. Instead of praising K-State's defense (holding a good scoring team to their lowest point total with their 2 main scorers only scoring 2 points), he complained about how poorly TCU played down the stretch! That, dear posters, is a man who hoped like hell TCU would knock Kansas State out of contention. He resented TCU. He even mocked Dixon for calling a time out with 30 seconds left. How many times have you heard a sports commentator blast another team for not playing hard enough instead of praising the winning team?

Now, go back in time with me to about two weeks ago. Kansas is struggling and they go to TCU. TCU has the game in hand and plays terribly down the last two minutes and gives the game away to Kansas. Right after the game, they're talking about who will win the Big XII. Seth mentions K-State and Williams, with that pompous smirk, scoffs at him and says KU is going to win another championship. In fact, after Kansas squeaked out one against TCU and beat Oklahoma State, at Lawrence, the whole pundit world was exclaiming that Kansas was back to win another Championship.

I continue. This afternoon, I pull up the podcast from Mike DeCourcey on 810. Of course the topic begins with K-State's victory over TCU and, quickly,
denigrates into a TCU bashing session. No, we're not talking about K-State's amazing run for the conference championship, we're going to bash TCU. Two weeks ago, Dixon and his darlings were oh so tough. A lock in the tournament. All it took was for K-State to beat TCU and they're bashing them at every turn.. Two weeks ago I was wondering what was so fabulous about TCU after KU squeaked out a win against them.

There are more things I heard over the last 24 hours that I want to relate, but I can't go on forever. There are some who say they don't care if K-State gets disrespected, but I do because this bias matters when seeding is done for the tournament. There was an interesting tidbit put out on Twitter, today, by Tyler Dreiling. He posted the NCAA seeding history for Big 12 teams with 14 plus conference wins.

1 seed 9 times
2 seed 6 times
3 seed 1 time
4 seed 1 time
5 or worse: Never Right now Lunardi has them as a five seed.

Have to save up that hush money in case someone tries to go out and kill some people before the tournament

11
Did fuckface send another player to try to kill someone again?

12
Still didn't have any of his players trying to murder someone.

Get back to Fox News Bob

13
Maybe if Frank lets his guys go out and try to kill a few people karma will reward him with a clear path to a Final 4

14
Has Frank had to cover up one of his players going out and trying to murder someone yet like the fuckface muppet cuck?

Amusing all the mouthbreathers that did a 180 on the fuckface muppet all because a 16 beat a 1 seed last year

Fall into his lap? ICYMI, Arthur was an afterthought for most programs by the time we picked him up (Bryce was the Big headline grabber-LOL), and Klein was not talented enough to make an NFL roster.

It’s time for Bill to go, but if you think he just got lucky in 2011/2012 you’re insane.

There's like 30 guys on that roster that would have been the best player we had on the field this year

Unfortunately, people like Steffy are part of the facilitator class which has put K-State in the position it's in today.

Thanks Steffy.

In other news.

Yep, people like me are the reason Snyder came here, and stayed.

This board has made the following mistake:  Act like prick, arrogant UT fan, K-State becomes like UT.
That is a mistake about cause and effect, which isn't too surprising because there doesn't seem to be a lot of intelligence on this board.

Hang yourself

What will the body count be this year from murders committed by fuckface's players?
Gonna be a tough few years for you.  Hang in there though.  Always impressive to have a guy pissing into the wind.

Hopefully 1 of fuckface's players doesn't try to murder you next since you think that kind of behavior should be celebrated
