These Cats can play. Big Game Barry and #DEANWOLF continue to impress.

The Flush is the truth, can't believe how good he is now. Also Brian Patrick almost pulled off fouling out with less minutes than personal fouls.

Stockard had absolutely no problem showing him how it’s done.

Bears had only allowed above 50.0% on 2pt in 3 of 19 games. They had only allowed above 40.0% on 3pt in 3 of 19 games
Cats just shot 62.5% on 2pt & 47.1% on 3pt

I hope we can continue to get 10+ from Mawien, and at least 30 minutes with low foul numbers. We have to keep Diarra on the floor to keep other team from gang guarding The Flush.
Brown reminda me of McGruder as a senior. Brown is a defacto coach on the floor. Him and Claws, batman and robin.
I know the 3 Big Meats after Mantool try, but man we have to get more than fouls from them.

Really exemplifies what a piece of crap DJamer was.

It's awesome to see #DEANWOLF's confidence finally get to this level. And The Flush...damn! Stud!
But damn do we need a rebounding big.

I would argue that we're this good on offense because we can't play our crap rebounding bigs as much as our stupid coach would like. We're really good when they foul like tonight. And I think another rebounding big would only add value if they could score.
The smaller, the better.

seems like we have plenty of offense. :dunno:
or better they all got 20% better at rebounding. i also love smallball but giving up 16 boards is insane. then again, hard to rebound when we make everything. god damn great offense is fun to watch.

This doesn't make a ton of sense to me. We have a colder night and we're screwed. I do like the smaller line up because our bigs are atrocious but getting killed on the boards will hurt us down the road. The small line-up not turning the ball over has been as huge as the hot shooting.

Barry has proven to be very good, and pretty reliable at a) scoring a lot of points b) getting to the bucket and c) hitting a big shot when the other team has been on a run. He did all 3 last night. That 3 after Baylor gotten within like 5 I think where he stepped back and just drained it was baller AF.
Also, totally agree about Dean's confidence. He is so good at just hitting shots. Just turns around and squares up and knows it's going in.
I know MiR and others can and should keep dogging on Mawein, but he really does seem to now start to "get" it. He still is pretty average, but he had some nice blocks, is better at putting the ball through the hoop. I like that we are started to get a big that is playing with some confidence.

well yeah, because we're forced to play 4 guys who can shoot 3's and score in the paint really well. I don't wanna take any minutes from any of those guys so we can put some dumb big who's no threat to score because it'll make the offense worse.
I mean, if you're suggesting using a quality rebounder to replace any of the awful players we've been trotting out at the 5 and never playing them again, then yeah, that would be fine. Just as long as it isn't taking minutes away from the main 4. But in reality we know that wouldn't happen.
-
I would have never guessed that Barry would have developed into as explosive an athlete as he is right now.
really concerned about fatigue/injury though with his minutes.
