how on earth were we ahead of TCU?
I would assume they would accumalate the success of the teams through those 4 years?  :dunno:

Yeah, turning Trevone Boykin into the best QB in the league should rate pretty highly. It's pretty much like if DSams had thrown for 4000 yards this season and lead us to the brink of a national title.

If you consistently finish in the top 20, it's because you are pulling in top 20 classes. There is no other explanation.

If Snyder consistently had top20 talent, he'd consistently be a top-10 team.  he'd be better than 23-43 against ranked opponents.  He wouldn't be historically dreadful against top-10 teams.

I think he'd need top 10 talent to pull that off.

Yeah, I think it's the aggregate success over 4 years.  They were talking about Meshak's contributions.

It's hard.  Do you give weighted value to one 12-1 season vs. our 11-2 season?  How does their 2011 with a MWC title compare to our 10-3 year?

Even if you include their MWC season win totals, the 2011 class accounted for a 34-17 record.  Ours was 38-14.  We went to bowl games every year, they went 4-8 in 2013.  We finished ranked 3/4 years, and they were 2/4.

I'd agree that TCU would/should have the slight edge if they would have made the playoff and done some damage, but right or wrong, they didn't.  Therefore, you can't really say that the 2011 class had a discernibly better outcome than ours unless we're talking about extremely recent success.

Their 2014 season was better than anything Snyder has ever done. That solves it for me.

we've also offered clifford chattman as well

same HS as stephon taylor, but considering both of them have LSU offers, it'll be tough.

After flipping Elijah Sullivan, how cool would it be to become Flip'em Aggie? You committed to an SEC team? You should come play for  :billdance: instead.
