Overall this must be a decent hire. I was expecting a much larger meltdown today. It is noted that some of you have not disappointed.

Anybody who gets their crap blocked is a bitch.
So JO himself is a bitch, like, a lot then.
JO had a nice block on the dunk attempt. he said
can't remember which red raider was trying to get his dunk on but regardless, JO wasn't hearing it.
crockett i think.
Wow, he blocked a tiny deaf kid's shot a couple times. Hangin' banners! How did you get "Hangin' banners!' from:
Gillispie constantly whined to the officials.Loosers whine. Winners get angry.
FYPjudgemental, arrogant birds? enemies.
I will agree with you on hawks. I mean f thoseguysfictional arrogant birds.
Someone tell me what the halftime show was!The only thing I saw on TV was Willie with a baton. Even the TV crew knew it was bad, so they switched away pretty quick.
hey lets bitch about officiating
If we don't bitch about it after a win, we sound disingenuous after a loss.
idiots.
King, Gottllieb, & Vitale are all right that the call against Robinson was absolute horse crap.
It felt like we settled for .73 when .50 was available.was disappointed w/ the lull down the stretch. i was looking forward to some beyond amazing advanced stats (DE)
.73 is still pretty amazing. Bad stretch, bad team, whatever. Actually its the 2nd best DE against a Big 12 team under Frank.
It was ugly basketball, but we played better than most people's perceptions of the game.
with about 10 minutes left it looked liked .50 was possible.
No way I would play for Frank... He prides himself on taking all these 2 and 3 * recruits and coaching them up to almost being good enough to play in the NBA. Anyone that doesn't want to come in sucking and finish whipped and beaten and not so sucking can GTFO in Frank's eyes...
Personally, I'm to effing good to take that kind of abuse. I think I would take my talents to Washburn and almost be good enough there....
Come on down! Go Bods!
I'm on the fence with whether or not I could play for Frank. I know I "could." I would have to be a part of the team to really know if I could take it or not. If I felt like his yelling and punishments were warranted base upon my effort or lack thereof, then I'd be ok with it. However, if I busted my ass, played as hard as I could, and tried not to make mistakes, etc and he still Franked me around a lot. I wouldn't be a fan of that. I guess it would depend upon his expectations for me, if they were realistic and I felt by maximizing my effort and dedication, I could attain them. Great. I'd play for Frank. If I thought he was crazy with his expectations and I was set up to fail, I couldn't take that.
It all boils down to if I felt I was in control of my treatment by Frank.
Long way to say, "No."
Wanting to believe that he has realistic expectations is really the only thing that can keep me in Franks corner. If I ever lose that, the simple he's better than Wooly and Asbury will not sustain me.

Are you saying that Vic=Brian and Semi= Steve? It is reversed? OMG, GET SEMI!The OJ's are very religious. I would imagine that Frank calling Vic and every other player on the team rough ridin' assholes as loud as he can yell it in front of 12k people in the arena and however many are watching on tv including, like, grandma and cousins and aunts and uncles and friends from church and junk isn't helping our cause any.
Lon would never act this way.
He would be a coach we could be proud to call our own.
Then we could call Semi our own. He would be our/Lon's next Steve Henson.
This Miami game will be amazing.
Does Gameday start that early in the year?
LOL at every KU fan saying that all the announcers even thought it was a bad call. Only delusional Dickie V said anything, and on the replay one of the others said the call was fine.
Better question may be could you play for Frank? Thinking about Semi and his upcoming decision, I was wondering why he wouldn't come here. I have to believe there's a correlation to 4 and 5 star talent and their ability to play constant defense.

We'd like to thank John from St. Mary's for calling in tonight. Anyway, we're here with coach at Carlos O'Kelly's.....
Love it, but I am curious what it looks like on the field. That picture was obviously taken in the OOD.Make it matte purple and you've got a winner
agreed
Wow. I'm really said we will probably never see anything this fantastic.
It would be much more enjoyable if it incorporated more anger. Incredulous is kind of Jamar's deal. We need someone to display more anger towards the ref at every obvious whistle they get.I like when angel gets out there and gets up in someones face to steal the ball/get called for a foul/get blown by. he is very aggresive.
I like how incredulous he gets when a hand-check is called on him.
yes, this is very enjoyable
Is there any chance though that this year's OU team might be to us as CU was last year?
No. Not only was it our worst defensive game of the year, it was one of OU's best. IMHO, a complete anomoly game.
2 free throws. JO is back baby!Made 'em look easier than they actually were!
