I've refused to go to any movie with Ben Affleck (or John Travolta but that's off topic) since Good Will Hunting.  He is truly one of the worst actors of all time, in addition to being one of the biggest douche bags on the planet.

I this movie good enough to let all that go?  The previews look pretty awesome, but then I see his smug stupid face and just forget about it.

Yes, it is good enough.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

He's gotten better since then, really improved from Armageddon  Still not great, but no longer in Pauly Shore status.

Totally forgot about Armageddon, truly terrible performance.  Did anyone see Gigle (Jiggly)?

Had a bunch of  :drink: and watched it with a few of my roommates.  "Baywatch makes my penis sneeze" is about all I can remember.

I refuse to give an actor credit for movies he directs. His brother made that film work.

See this. From Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Memento) in 1996. It's only an hour and ten minutes and pretty cheaply made, but it's awesome. Not to mention extremely British and elite, you'll be the only one of your friends to have seen it.

Youth In Revolt
i rented this because a friend wanted to see it, and i had my doubts. it seemed like one of those alternative comedies that you had to be kind of smart to understand/like, in a different kind of way. i was right, kind of. but luckily, i'm a pretty smart guy so i fracking loved this movie. his alter ego francois was cracking me up the entire time. galifianakis didn't have as big a part as i would have liked, but it was okay. laughed pretty hard at the movie. enjoyed it. not sure if i'll ever watch it again, but i have a general positive outlook toward it.

If you were really that smart you would of read the book  :gocho:. Alot raunchier than the movie, written from a 13 year olds point of view with sexual references to everything.

Gone Baby Gone had a good story but awful character development.  And for me to go "these characters have absolutely no depth" means it had to stand out pretty badly.  Really kept it from being a much better movie (still good though)
