Watched Thor Ragnarok. It was fine but kind of overrated IMO. It was funny, but people were hyping it up as insanely funny, which it wasn't.

Watched the mummy.  Was a free rental.  Not great, but better than I expected.  Was a little different than I expected as well.

Brigsby Bear: very good. Funny, sweet

Baby Driver: pretty corny but in a good way. Wasn't quite what I expected but I enjoyed it. Also the Kevin Spacey scenes were extra cringeworthy in light of the recent news

Don't Think Twice: Just ok. People who are best at being funny trying to be dramatic.

It's generally thought of as a terrible movie by those that have seen it, so your reaction is unsurprising.

Score (2016) - 6/7 if you are a film score nerd like me, it is like a 2 hour joy ride through film history. includes bits about all the heavyweights. also reaffirms my personal opinion that thomas newman is a hack.

Spielberg (2017) - 6.5/7 if you are a human being like me, it is like a 2.5 hour joy ride through spielberg's life and film history. crazy background info about jaws, star wars, schindler, etc. Loses half a point because they completely F'ing glossed over Hook.

Just watched Get Out last night. I was much more Stepford Wives-ish than I was expecting.

Watched Absolutely Anything on Netflix. Poor reviews but I thought it was really funny, or at least had enough funny moments to make the 2 hrs worthwhile. I like Simon Pegg. Also this might have been Robin Williams' final movie (voice of the dog) which made me sad. But he was really good as the dog.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Watched the latest Jack Reacher today. Enjoyable for watching on Prime. Would've been disappointed paying full price.

Emily Dickinson biography was OMFG boring. The things we do for our kids. My 16yo absolutely loved it though.

I’ve seen it a million times but I didn’t know it was on Netflix.  Scary Movie.  Simply the best parody movie ever made.

Dark Tower was so much fun last night. Not sure why the shitty reviews. I'm sure those were by ppl who actually read the book.

Murder on the Orient Express - had a few moments but not great.  The ending was unsatisfying.  I assume it's the same ending as the book but I would imagine it plays better there.  Almost a waste of the ensemble when you don't have enough time to give a crap about any of them.
