Chingon get cheesed off

When was the last time you had coffee that wasn't 100% Aribica beans?  Never that's when.  Do they need to stop saying it all the time.  They being Big Coffee.

never depends on ones age
Quote
Going back to the beginning of the century, Arabica coffee was the major ingredient in most commercial blends and coffee was one of the most popular beverages in the country. However, the major coffee producers realized that they could mix a little Robusta coffee into the blend and the consumers would not be able to tell the difference. The cost of the blend was reduced (since Robusta coffee is cheaper) and the coffee producers were able to make greater profits. After this first experiment the coffee sellers began, each year, to mix in more Robusta coffee and less Arabica coffee with greater profitability being recognized each year.

This went on for a number of years before the law of unintended consequences reared its often ugly visage; people stopped drinking coffee. Sure some of the oldtimers were still choking down bitter watery brown liquid but the time honored generational traditional of passing down a coffee addiction was ebbing. Young people, who had not slowly been introduced to Robusta coffee but were being asked (by the coffee mavens) to accept it in one fell swoop, found that the repugnant brew was not preferential to the myriad of other beverages from which they could choose.

I like coffee, I even drink decaf.  However, full disclose, I put half and half in my coffee.  No sugar.

What is it with all the diet versions of sodas? Just make one that tastes good and be done with it.  No need for zeros and tens and whatnot.

I kinda am tired of crazy Oreo flavors.  The problem is that one man's birthday cake is another man's apple pie.

ya i'm tired of them too.  firstly, you get fewer oreos in the package.  second, only a couple of the special flavors have really stood out (reese's peanut butter cup and red velvet cake or whatever it was called).

was at target over lunch today and saw the pumpkin spice flavor and threw the end cap display down into the aisle

Meetings that begin without a person leading them, continue without an agenda and conclude with people leaving at the agreed upon end time and others just continuing to talk about random crap.

Why would anyone buy regular strength when extra strength is available.  Here's an idea: make extra the new regular strength and quit wasting my goddamn time.

Chicat Cheeser: People that feel the need to explain humidity to everyone when they travel to a different climate.  "It's hot in Arizona right now but the thing is, there's no humidity, so it doesn't seem as hot"

Thing is, Chicat, it's a dry heat. Like a convection oven. I wouldn't last 5 minutes in a regular oven, but a convection oven? 30, easy...

The best thing about low humidity is how quickly everything cools off after about 6 pm.
