This might be a dumb question, but in my blockchain wallet it says that I have the accurate number of BTC.  However, it also says I have some some additional BCH as well.

On the BCH page under questions, it says:

"If you had bitcoin in your Blockchain wallet before the fork in August, you already have Bitcoin Cash. If you're new to Blockchain, you can get started with Bitcoin Cash by exchanging bitcoin or ether."

So... Did I just automatically get some "free bitcoin cash"?  Or, what?

And, should I HODL this if I have it or turn it into something else like BTC, LTC or ETH?

That's not a dumb question and a part of hard forks that can be confusing.  So when Bitcoin hard forked in August and created Bitcoin Cash(Bcash) it split the Bitcoin blockchain into two separate chains.  They(Bitcoin and Bcash) have the exact same history pre-hard fork, but have diverging ledgers from the block that the hard fork occurred on.  So whatever balance of Bitcoin you had at the moment of the fork you have on the other chain as well.  Any transactions on either chain after that point won't reflect on the other chain, because of replay protection(I've posted some articles about this) being included with Bcash.

This is the case with Bitcoin Gold(I don't remember if they included replay protection or not) and all the other hard forks that have happened since.  Most of these other forks aren't even worth your time to get the "Free coins" from, I think I posted an article about it though if you are interested.

As for what to do with it that's up to you.  Obviously from stuff I've been posting I think it's a shitcoin and I don't have any.

Isn't that what most Discord groups are?  Just asking.... seems that way from reading articles.
