I need some software where I can take a picture of a plot and it spits out an equation. Does that exist?
Maybe.  How many plots? What kind if equations?

I just have one plot with one curve on an x-y plane. I can do this by hand, I just wanted something that would be more precise than me reading off a plot.

For this case, since it is only 1 plot it is not worth paying for software to do it. I might need to do more in the future, so maybe it would be worth it then.

Don't want to get these two threads confused

Hi

I want to control a few android devices I have with my pc or iPhone.  What is the best software to do that?

Like just remoting to them or connecting them in some way?  Bot army?

I am trying out mobizen at the moment I just want to access them remotely on occasion.  RemoteView from Rsupport supposedly has multiple android device support at the same time but I'm too Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to figure it out.

I have never heard of those but they look like either would be fine.  We use LogMeIn Rescue at work and it works pretty well.

If you were just trying to connect to a computer from Android or iOS I would say use Chrome Remote Desktop.  It works for both Windows and Mac remote connections.  Unless you are controlling employees devices idk why you would want to connect to android devices but who knows.

Are any of you using Office 365 at work? What's been your experience? We're headed that direction at the big HVAC place.

And you can have the locally installed applications still anyway, right? The cloud based stuff is just added functionality.

Licensing and data are housed on the cloud (can even access applications from it), but yeah, it is basically the same as the latest version of office.(only noticeable difference is our outlook mailbox limit went from 200 mb to 50 gb)  With my company's contract, each employee is given 5 licenses to install office on their personal devices which is an added bonus.

Everything that's been said is true about O365. I will say the one difference is Microsoft includes the black theme ONLY with O365 and not the stand alone license.

Also Visio doesn't come with the standard O365 licensing so if you use that its extra.

O365 licenses can be combined across levels from Enterprise all the way down to Exchange Kiosk (for just a webmail mailbox).  We utilize three products in our licensing: Business Premium (includes the desktop install), Business Essentials (provides online Office apps as well as most of the other goodies), and Exchange Kiosk for users that only need a mailbox.

I want make a fairly simple app to make an aspect of my job easier. I could easily do it in c, but would like a more windowsy interface. What's the thing to use here? Java? Can you do Java in vs?

VS provides support for pretty much any language now.  I would recommend C# over Java.  If you have more in depth questions I would be happy to help too.
