i made it through about 1 hour 15 minutes of the deuce last night (hbo) before switching over to 90 day fiance

firmly does not have balls/taint area affected

I'm not sure what to think of this show.  James Franco plays identical twin bros.  Too much James Franco in one location?  Time period is in same ballpark of when Vinyl was set - maybe HBO is cursed when it comes to NYC period pieces.

Maggie G's flapjacks were not something I wanted to see.  Also there were like 3 dong sightings which is roughly 2 or 3 too many.

I suppose I'll give it one more episode.

5 epis deep. Confirmed. It's funny. Was told Dylan gave the idea to Jonah Hill on set on the movie 22 jump street. And Jonah told him he's about to be famous and laughed his ass off.

Wow. So I read this book earlier this year called American Gods. And I'm thinking "you know who would be an awesome Mr. Wednesday? That saloon owner from Deadwood." Pretty good book. Then I recently find out that Showtime turned the book into a tv series. So I start watching it. Guess who Mr. Wednesday is? Ian rough ridin' McShane.

I also got pretty close on Shadow. I pictured Vin Diesel.

Good show so far, very similar to the book.
