I've already donated to hurricane relief (PR-specific) for college hoops-based reasons through Angel's fundraiser.
I'm sure this Midwestern fundraiser will only include real Americans anyways

They're great reads, but man, did he really spend all that time writing 1000 reviews?

I'm sure there were some staff members/volunteers coming up with what items to buy for charity, a few then writing all the reviews in like word, and then a few logging in with Sly to "type" (ctrl+c ctrl +v) the reviews and post. I would imagine 1000 reviews would take some time for 1 person to do, especially with all the wit/humor part added in. Let alone how busy he is.
This is mainly why I asked. Seems tiring.

i dont think there is a limit to the number of concurrent logins to an amazon account

I wish we had a rival to do cool crap like this.  If we had a Farmageddon at Sprint Center for charity, we would have 500 fans show up.

nah bro have you ever been to an event featuring an iowa state squad? tucked in maroon polos as far as the eye can see

So damn true. KC becomes flooded with them

i'm sure it has nothing to do with the airport

http://www.flykci.com/newsroom/news-releases/september-2017-kci-airport-traffic-statistics/

Quote
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Aviation Department reports that 915,461 passengers arrived and departed through Kansas City International Airport’s gates in September, a 1.9-percent decrease from September 2016. Passenger boardings were down 2.3 percent, with a total of 458,553 boarded. For the year to date, total passengers in and out total 8,616,491, up 4.5 percent. Year-to-date passenger boardings are 4,308,157 up 4.5 percent.

“We regret to see our streak of consecutive traffic growth come to an end,” said Kansas City Director of Aviation Pat Klein. “While exasperated by a higher than usual number of weather cancellations, our airline partners have also reversed their growth in flight capacity at Kansas City International Airport and, unfortunately, are now flying fewer flights.  Looking at future flight schedules, the reduction of capacity at KCI may continue through the end of 2017.”

“was going to the great city of kansas city, but then i remembered that dang airport of theirs which i’m going to fly into and be in my car 5 minutes after landing so i cancelled my trip”

“johnson!  i need you in KC stat! i set up a big meeting with the big dogs at that big company that we do business with there!  wait, that airport hasn’t been updated in a few years!  johnson, cancel that big meeting and stop doing business with that company, stat!!”

“hi honey, looking forward to getting out of kc for a few days and relaxing on the beach, i love you so much. wait, i forgot, we haven’t updated our airport.  cancel the beach vacation and cancel you, i’m done with this farce of a relationship!”

all very plausible scenarios

clams that quote is suggesting there were fewer available flights, not fewer people deciding to fly

all very plausible scenarios

1) Last time I landed at KC it took me 30 minutes from plane to Uber. That's an absolute fact.

2) Johnson can't get to KC on time due to less direct flights. Lost the deal.

3) they live in emporia and drove to Wichita instead...same price, same connection needed.

I flew to Wichita instead of KC to get to FattyFest, with the airport being a factor along with longbones and odds of respective locals going to FattyFest.

that place went up fast, exterior is complete.  i’d guess they could send an army in there tomorrow to begin the interior work and have it wrapped up early

two would be much nicer looking if they had used more of that fake stone that’s on the north and east sides rather than going for the corporate woods 1980’s vibe.

i’m afraid to see what the new block building in my hood is going to look like
