Again, I really like kids, but hate the office parade.

Thanks for re-clarifying.  I think we were all a bit unsure of your position.

Kids terrify me.

"do i have any brothers or sisters?"
"spend time with me, dad!"
"why dont you pay mom your alimony?"

blah blah blah theyre always whining right wacky?
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

Kids terrify me.

I figured that you would be able to relate to them.

Fought having to bring my kids to the office, but finally succumbed to all the women who demanded.

Pre-briefed Mrs. Dax on the quick run through routine and then gone . . . never to return, ever.
things have changed since the early eighties I bet

All the women in my office wanted mrs.hamburg to bring little miss hamburg in.  We have open areas with  5 desks around the outside and tables in the middle to promote teamwork.  10-15 people can comfortably hang out.  We just kept her in the room for 30ish minutes.  If you wanted to see her you could come to that room.  People came and went as they wanted.  Everyone seemed to enjoy 5 minutes if they chose to come in.  :dunno:

Not that I couldn't have been one, but I would have been a really young father in the 80's . . . bro.

I don't care for babies or kids, like, at all. Except for Kat Kid's progeny, they're the exception.
The dobber clan was very hurt to hear this news.

My office has an infant at work program.  With mini-176 I took him to work with me until he was 5 months old (I was off 12 weeks, so he wasn't a newborn when he started). Never had to do the baby parade thing, cause he was there e'ry day.

Now with baby slu on her way, I'll do the same thing, but this office will allow me to keep her here until 6 months.

Glad I don't work with any of you aholes.

Ya guys the old hens like pester you to bring the baby in.  So like you're the dude you're working and your wife is at home bored so like she wants to get out, too.  So what you do is on a Thursday or Friday she swings through with the kid at about 3 or 330, you walk around for 30 minutes and hit the people that have been bugging you, then the kid gets fussy and you're like "ya know I really ought to go home and help out" and boom you're not at work until 7 that night.  It's not like you hit every cube/office and demand attention.  I sure as crap don't want the majority of my colleagues within 6 feet of my kid.

So now you are at a different job but they also have an infant at work program? What industry is this? Seems like you wouldn't get much work done (unless your job is caring for infants).

Changed jobs within same place, different office locations tho, different rules.
Saves 3 months worth of daycare.  Pretty nice employee perk.  Re: productivity-More kid time, less bbsn time; should even out.

I don't know!!! Showing it off I guess. I forgot she worked here. She's been gone so long.  :curse: That reminds me. Why do I not get Maternity leave? Oh, you smoke? You get 5 minutes to go outside and blacken your lungs! Oh, you don't do anything? You can't reproduce and smoke? You stay in your seat and work! :curse:

My company started paternity leave 2 months after my last child was born. Didn't really matter because I basically did jack krap the first 2 weeks after each of my kids were born.

Filter for crap should be krap.
