He's such a dipshit

very weird guy, charming in his own way. to be so misinformed and yet so self-assured at the same time is incredible stuff to observe

I cannot confirm all of the details below and, therefore, I am not reporting the following. I want to be very clear about that. But you all subscribe to RRS in large part because you want an inside look at what is going on with Texas Tech athletics, and there's obviously a lot going on. This is an instance, and there will likely be more instances like this in the coming days and weeks, where I feel good enough about certain details lining up with what I've heard elsewhere to pass it along. Let's call it informed chatter.

I spoke with a long-time source with close ties to Oklahoma State today. Here's what he told me:

... Mike Holder, Oklahoma State's former athletic director, has been working with various individuals at Texas Tech with the objective of getting the Red Raiders and Cowboys into the Pac-12.

... Oklahoma State may have a chance at a Big Ten invitation.

... If Oklahoma State goes to the Pac-12 with Texas Tech, it would likely be as part of a foursome that includes Kansas and Kansas State.

... If Oklahoma State ends up in the Big Ten, then Texas Tech, TCU and two others would end up in the Pac-12.

... The source thinks that Oklahoma State wants to stay linked with Texas Tech but that only happens with the Pac-12.

... The reports that the Big Ten is considering USC is great news for Texas Tech and possibly Oklahoma State because Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff will want to keep USC happy and expansion into Texas does that.

... Nothing will happen until the SEC officially accepts Oklahoma and Texas as members, which could happen on Friday at some point. That will get the ball rolling.

the athletic sucks for KSU stuff but it’s good to see some quality realignment content from them. I subscribe pretty much entirely for Nate Taylor and Seth Keysors chiefs content.

I can’t wait to see what comes out of this.

I laughed so hard I cried when I read this

anyone who thinks Baylor is getting into the PAC is not worth recognizing. it will literally never happen

we are not in a good place but certainly better off than Baylor

that barstool douche has no idea what he’s talking about

a lot of people on KSO are learning for the first time that college sports is really all about money  :frown:

Bill made a lot of money and got to give his friends and family a lot of money because he was outrageously successful. That’s also why he got away with being an bad person for 25 years. That isn’t unique to Bill, or KSU, or even the sport of college football. That’s the way it is and no intelligent person cares

All in K-State will pay the Snyder's $1.6 million this year.

I’m talking kids from Colby that were raised on genetically modified crops and fracking water. kids that are like 340 lbs already and they’re 17. stuff those mutants into a purple uniform and tell them the defensive guys from the other team are democrats. that’s how you build an offensive line.

He’d probably be a Heisman candidate with a legit P5 WR Corp.  I feel bad for him because 2020 is going to be roooouuuughhh unless the staff pulls off a recruiting miracle on the OL.

just go get some hogmollies from western Kansas. we’ll be fine

Five nights Mystique Santorini, 240k Marriott (booked during the cat 9 “sale” last year). Cash value around 6500 after upgrade, for an strong 2.7 cents per point value

Update and pics??   :impatient:

Here’s an album of the new DFW lounge and AA 777-300ER biz class seat. Also went to the new whataburger at DFW. Great trip

thanks sd. booked it. three free nights gonna be nice.

I remember being a kid and Wichita got this downtown Hyatt and they ran a story in the paper about how great Hyatt’s are and how Wichita was a big time city for getting one. It might have literally been front page news in the Eagle. Then because it’s wichita, it didn’t make any money and the city had to buy it

Headed to Greece this morning. Academia of Athens 3 nights, Mystique Santorini 5 nights. The Atlantic leg is DFW-LHR in biz class on an AA 777-300ER, but first we’re slumming it on an Mad Dog from KC. AA retires these old fuckers in September so enjoying the nostalgia of what is likely to be my last flight on the American workhorse plane for my entire life.

Miss this thread.

Sounding like some big money could come into the AD if a coaching change is made. Would be fun to get a hot new coach and a reno announcement shortly after.

Lol
