"It sucks. It's really does. I'm scared to know what opening game next season will look like. David Beaty will still have a job though. Our athletic director has learned his lesson when it comes to firing coaches after only two years.
If you were Kansas and then you can finally put all of this behind you. It's 100% officially basketball season and that's the only thing we have left now to look forward to.
Please don't laugh at us. Please don't mock us. We have been so incredibly unfortunate and you power programs just don't know what it's like.
I try to see some positivity in all of this though. We have hit rock bottom. We have nowhere to go but up. Other programs have done it, like Kansas State, who was in a much worse situation than us. It will take time and patience which is something that a lot of our fans do not have. But I do, and I believe in our team. I'm a Jayhawk and I will support my team and all sports and my school. Our team and our school.
I will still be out there next season braving through every game no matter the outcome. I will never give up on this team. I love them. I love them today, I loved them yesterday, I will love them tomorrow, and I will love them every day after that.
Win or lose, KU is still far above the golden valley, glorious to view.
