There has been maybe one qb the last 10 years that could beat out alex as a rookie, good grief dax.

Shitty debates aside, Dorsey had a hand in selecting Rodgers, Reid had a hand in developing Favre. Gonna go ahead and let the men do the picking and weighing the risk vs reward.  :buh-bye:

Dax can't be serious

"Chiefs never take a QB"
Chiefs take a QB
"They didn't even get one that would start over the current QB of their 12-4 team"

I really enjoy the "against tired, bend but don't break defense" talking point. Its a good one.

And yeah, this is about as opposite of "chiefsin'" as you can get. It may blow up in their faces, but its not that.

Dax is going to flip his crap when Snyder recruits all 5*'s next year and KU gets a new stadium. His head might explode. He'll have no talking points left.

Here's why the Chief's Chiefed MoCameroHead.

They gave up a 2, a 3 and then a 1 for a guy they already admit is a project.
FAKE NEWS!

They didn't give up a 2.

Really weird post.  Particularly from a guy who loses his mind on social media over KU.

I read through a bunch of play charts.  Tons of big plays coming in the 60-70 plus play range.  Perfectly valid point.

It's the same old Chiefs doing dumb things IMO to pick up a project QB in a weak QB draft.

Loses his mind over KU on social media?  I went to HS at Eudora (5 miles away from lawrence), my wife went to KU, and my best friend from K-State is a huge #KUbball fan. You might confuse losing my mind with trolling friends and family.

That's nice.  Then you might be confused with making fun of KU.  Which is not "flipping my crap".  Also, LHC Bill Snyder has said repeatedly that we can't recruit 5 stars, and we don't really try.

The only "sure thing" QB that came out of the draft in my lifetime was Luck.

Whether they gave up too much remains to be seen but if he was worth the 27th pick, he was almost certainly worth the 27th, a third, and a 2018 1.

Okay then MoCameroHeadCat.

Still pulling for the Chiefs to beat the 50 year mark.

Nothing.  Besides the mild annoyance of the Chiefs doing enough to flail around in an interesting manner.

you seem a little more than mildly annoyed.

Anyway, I love the pick. Love it. He might be a bust of course but for a franchise that has operated with an organizational philosophy that resembles an Alex Smith checkdown, they just changed course and chucked it deep. Sign me up.

Sounds great, but PM (like Alex) will likely not meet the goal of Chiefs 2020.
