Even E(SEC)PN couldn't even get it right during our bowl game, redshirt and medical are two different things I believe. Thus, giving him two more years at Kansas State 

Actually they did get it right, he's a junior. You don't technically get the medical redshirt year until the completion of your senior season.

I would completely understand that and also not really care about that (although I do very much like how his name rolls off the tongue).  I just really hope it's not Barnes.

Negative. Barnes did good in mopup duty against FAU. He padded his stats against Baylor and KU.

Silmon performed well against TCU and Texas A&M.  I know which of these isn't like the other.

Silmon performed well against TCU and Texas A&M.  I know which of these isn't like the other.

TCU was ass as well, and you conveniently left out OSU(9 carries, 72 yards), which was better than either of those teams.  You can also use your eyes to see that Barnes is bigger, stronger, faster, more agile and more decisive than Silmon regardless of competition.  Don't get me wrong, Silmon is decent, but Barnes is better in every perceptible way, don't know what you see in Silmon that is better, he was often undecisive in his cuts and danced in the backfield a lot early a la Charles Jones.

I think that Barnes is better, but I agree with scribe somewhat in that I don't think the difference between the two is as pronounced as their stats would suggest. Against TCU and A&M, Silmon was just a stud.  I'm glad we have both, and I think both will get plenty of carries and yards next year.
