He looks like he just sunk a birdie putt to win the masters.

This is a really fantastic description

LOL at the 2 cops escorting Rhoads around.
in fairness, i saw Melvin R. Weatherwax roaming ISUs sidelines
http://deadspin.com/5986921/after-loss-to-kansas-angry-iowa-state-fan-rushes-court-tries-to-confront-bill-self
They might have had legitimate security concerns
(not gEing, really wish i remembered his name from this thread http://goEMAW.com/forum/index.php?topic=26551.msg755193#msg755193 so i could have heckled him)

So I'm pretty sure Melvin nearly t-boned me at the intersection of Sunset & Hunting after the game. There was an Audi SUV with an Iowa State Univ license plate that said M Wax on it that nearly blew the stop sign he had on Hunting, I couldn't be definitive if it was him by looking at his face though
Truly a menace

Now being told that Rhodes is informing his staff. Do not know if they will announce immediately or after the season.

Are they even back to Ames yet?

I passed about 4 buses on I-70 that had Iowa license plates. They won't be back in Ames for a bit.

They flew into and out of MHK
Did they bring their own logo bus fro the ride from MHK to the stadium?  Can't imagine they'd do that, but whatevs, their money.

Dunno, perhaps but they definitely flew. They left Ames yesterday morning before the winter storm hit here. The busses may have been for the cheerleaders and athletic department personnel. Also worth noting the ISU Athletic department owes my business about $7000.

Sounds like the basketball team will be spending more nights in various hotel ballrooms.

EFF...that's a lot of rainmakers.  Probably enough for an entire football te...OHHHH, I GET IT.  They plan to replace HCPR's enthusiasm with a set of rain sticks and a juco coaching staff, I bet.  Unconventional.

CPR after game-tying TD: "aw geez. Sonuva! My shoe's been untied this entire time?!" *ties shoe*

The shoe tying made it onto Big 12 no huddle version. Pretty great.

Rhoads is still coaching their game next week.  How awkward.

His win as a lame duck coach over the Cyclones of all people was the last KSU home game I attended. It wasn't that bad!

I remember it came down to the last play at the goal line, but I don't remember if we stuffed them or if we scored.

ISU scored a TD on the last play. It was also Gene Chizik's last game at ISU!

Such a weird game to actually win. But, ISU gonna ISU, even the last game of a lame duck coach.
