would ku go after paul rhoads?

I think they would. Beaty isn't leaving them for Houston, though.

From a thread entitled, "Are We Past The Point Of No Return?"

Quote
At the worst case scenario, KU would stop playing in the B12 for awhile.  Schedule easier competition, to build positive momentum for a period of time.  This would take the pressure off, and then KU could start fresh in the B12 several years down the road.

As KU continues to lose, a negative self-destructive environment becomes one of the biggest obsticals to winning.

Maybe if the B12 splits up anyhow, KU gets into an easier league.  Maybe take KSU, ISU and form a new league, add teams like Biose St,  Memphis, etc.  Then schedule non-conference opponents with traditional regional rivals like Missouri, Neb and CU.  KU would sell alot of tickets if NEB or Mizz were coming to town.

Not saying this should done, I am just trying to answer the original question.

not a bad idea. we'd have like 50 consecutive conference titles in the High Plains Puds League.

Does the winner of that get a bcs berth?

Then they won't, their QB and RB are very good, their boob of a coach lost them three games this year.

honestly, $17 to get in the stadium seems high.

No... FCS berth would be more likely.

They won't upgrade because the KU alumni that have money either don't give a crap about football or they give it all to basketball.

They can blame it on the various AD's, presidents, coaches, or whoever, but they have not, and will not, make that kind of investment because KU Basketball will demand it's pound of flesh first.

Can you imagine KU putting forward $160 million towards a football stadium like we have?  Of course they wouldn't.  If they could actually generate that kind of capital for these kinds of projects, which they never have, a huge chunk would go to something inside or affixed to AFH.

It is this.  In reality, one of their more generous athletic donors paid several millions dollars to buy the second rules of basketball and THEN BUILT A FANCY HOUSE FOR THEM.  Can you imagine being the football department watching them build that (and the Kentucky copy dorm/towers) while you are plunging your 50 year old toilets?  It has to be awful

One thing history has taught me is that when it comes to ku football tickets, there is a TON of difference between "asking price" and "selling price".

ku's 2016 big 12 schedule looks a lot like k-state's 2015. also no bye weeks.

https://twitter.com/Big12Conference/status/669234051593572353

Can Beaty go 0-fer two yrs in a row without them buying him out and hiring someone else?

Ok guys looking at that slate, I think we need to set some reasonable expectations for our fighting Jayhawks and acknowledge the very real possibility of our 'yhawks starting conference play 0-5 next season.

Potentially, I have two extra tickets to the game tomorrow.
