The thing is that talent is pretty much irrelevant, it appears.  It's coaching/managing/motivating the talent.

he recruited very well (in terms of stars) at Illinois.

KSU spends like  drunk sailor at a prostitute palace, and we get sorry year.  Cornboys squeeze the life out every penny and win big time.  I am sure Currie put the fiscal  screws to Frank and we won.

Posted to wrong thread.  Apply to ISU thread.  Does apply though in the fact we spend a lot not get a whole lot in the way of a big time recruits.  ISU gets by better with less.

So is it "Xavier" like the school or "Xavier" like the one-and-done player from KU a couple years ago?

Sounds right up oscar's ally.

In 20 games this spring and summer with the Albany City Rocks on the Nike EYBL circuit, he averaged 6.6 points and 5.7 rebounds.

“He’s the ultimate teammate,” City Rocks director Jim Hart said. “Any coach is going to love him. He’s a warrior on the boards, brings his lunch pail every day. His upside is great because he has a high basketball IQ and such a natural nose for the ball.

I would get a rigor mortis weasel if Jarrett Allen commits to the cats.  He is a great kid and player that would fit well in Oscar'a 100 Acre Happy Forest.

Rigor mortis weasel?  Are you a Taxidermist?  If you are, how dead and stiff does it get before you skin it.  And is it nice and soft when it's starring back at you.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Supposedly Cartier Diarra a 6'4" pg from South Carolina will be visiting this weekend.  Ranked 4th in the state.  WSU is taking a good look too.

He hasn't been scouted by Rivals yet. From my understanding didn't play AAU ball. A local South Carolina services has him rated the 4th best prospect in the state, that would make him around being high major recruit.
