Everybody laughed at me, but now I've got Thrones Facts on my side. :micdrop:
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Well you obviously already know so don't say anything!! (And if the dead dick contributes something to the story I'm Ok with it - I just don't like gratuitous nudity for the sake of the show runners having a giggle).

If you read the comments you will see that the map misses the fact that the white walkers attacked Bran in that cave....What else have they missed that we don't even know about???

Yea. Once again, this is only a problem if you assume the WW have been marching directly towards the wall the entire time even though the show gives you no reason to believe that and several reasons not to.

It doesn't matter. As I said a few pages back:

Not to quibble (but I guess, yes, to quibble), you all are making excuses for a weak plot contrivance. If Jon has all this time to traipse all over Westeros because the Night King is just sitting around waiting, why does every shot we see of the Undead Army show them marching?

The Night King and Bran's storylines intersect at the Cave of the 3ER. Bran's storyline intersects with Sansa's storyline at Winterfell. Sansa's storyline intersects with Jon's at Winterfell. So this means the Night King is not only moving so slowly that he hasn't reached the Wall by the time Meera/Benjen towed Bran on a sled all the way to the Wall and then on down to Winterfell, but the Night King is still marching to the Wall by the time Jon spends months sailing from Dragonstone all the way up to Eastwatch.

The Night King is moving slower than Michael Meyers. The excuse boils down to "well I'm sure he's taking so long because he's doing tons of other stuff we don't know about, like recruiting." Besides, we all know the Night King doesn't bother recruiting. Like Snyder, he focuses on development.

i agree 100% on how unforgivably stupid and poorly written all the time traveling as plot catalyst is.  but i find the galloping through 6 inches of water/falling off horse into 30 feet of water to be way worse.  and where/when/how tf did jaime crawl out of the water to start this week's episode?  insulting the viewers' intelligence is one thing, these assholes are gloveslapping our intelligence.

IMO neither of these is quite as dumb as Arya being repeatedly stabbed and jumping into an open sewer and surviving. I love this show but I wish it didn't do unnecessarily stupid things from time to time.

Especially given the gold hand. They should have at least shown him having to leave it at the bottom of the river.

You have to be a pretty damn good swimmer to get out with that plus a full suit of armor.

You'd have to be an even better swimmer to pull yourself and another dude out of the water while both wearing at least 100 pounds of armor. Fortunately, Bron is that swimmer.

Yeah but how great was that cliffhanger where we didn't know if Jaime was alive?

sometimes in movies a character is in the bathtub or even just like knocked out in a boxing match, and the camera shows that person sinking in deep water but we all know it's just imagery and the person is really in a bathtub or a boxing mat
